My family and I enjoy stopping by the diner for breakfast on the weekends. It has been a welcome addition to the neighborhood and has become a regular weekend breakfast stop. They are family friendly, have plenty of food options for everyone, and treat you like you’re sitting down for a home cooked meal.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I visited with my two children, and from the beginning, the waitress was rude, impatient, and dismissive. Since it was our first time there, we had a few questions about the menu, but she seemed annoyed and rushed us to place our order immediately instead of taking a moment to explain the options.
What made the experience even worse was that it appeared our order was left until the very end, and when our food finally arrived, it was cold. Throughout the visit, the waitress's attitude was unprofessional and unpleasant.
As a Hispanic customer, I felt discriminated against based on the way we were treated. Whether intentional or not, the experience left me feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable.
I believe the restaurant should ensure its staff are better trained in customer service, patience, and professionalism, especially when helping first-time customers. Unfortunately, this was a very negative experience, and I hope management addresses these issues.

My wife brought me here today for a breakfast date. I ordered the eggs florentine wish potatoes, iced coffee and a cookies and cream shake. All of it was delicious.
The wait staff are very friendly and pleasant. They let us sit anywhere we wanted when we walked in, so we sat on the back patio area.
This place is a vibe! Since our old diner moved towards the hospital, we were searching for a new spot. LOVE IT!

High Hill Diner is exactly what a great local diner should be. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with friendly service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like a regular, even on your first visit.
The food is consistently delicious, with generous portions and reasonable prices. Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, everything tastes fresh and homemade. The pancakes are fluffy, the omelets are packed with flavor, and the coffee is always hot and fresh.
If you’re looking for great comfort food, excellent service, and a true neighborhood gem, this neighborhood diner is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
Based on a 4.6 google review, my best friend and I decided to try this establishment, because Hudson View Diner is permanently closed. Seeing that Hudson View had a 4.1 rating, and High Hills Diner had 4.6 stars, we decided to take the walk and try it out.
Why I won’t be returning and would NEVER recommend this place.
1- we got in and were seated at a dirty table. The host put the menus down and I had to let him know the table wasn’t clean. He quickly cleaned it and then left. Ok, it’s busy I understand how that can be looked over.
2- we ordered 1 course each- one on the breakfast and brunch menu. Nothing extravagant nor complicated. Pastrami Hash and chorizo Benedict, a tea and iced coffee. The wait time for our meal was more than an hour.
3-eating our meal, I had to flag someone down to get something to drink. Our waitress never came back to ask if we wanted anything extra.
4- they list an “operating fee” on your bill. I ask what the operating fee is, the guy says “it’s the credit card processing fee of 3.5%. Why not be transparent and write that, instead? Any way, coming home, I decided to check if it was 3.5 % and it was higher.
If you want Mediocre food, this is where you go. This was the biggest upset ever- imagine spending $36 on two poached eggs, a quarter portion of home fries (because that’s all that was served). Never going back.
