My disappointment is beyond words. Any establishment needs to have a certain level of cleanliness, especially when it’s serving food. I really wanted this to work out since there are so few halal options in the area. Without a massive investment into this business, it will only keep on deteriorating.
I cannot bring myself to believe that the owners care about this at all. When you spend $30 on a lunch, you at least expect the food to be good. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t as good either. Microwaved.
They have great potential to turn this into a great restaurant, especially for Muslims in the area. But so far, what I experienced was a letdown. And I can confidently say that the people who have been coming here for decades are what’s keeping it alive, rather than seeing good growth in new clients.
I hope they change.

Extremely rude service! Superrrr unhygienic! One of the worst places in NYC! Don’t think a review would even matter to them but whoever is seeing this, please do not go to such a place! If I had an option to give 0 starts, that’s what I would give!

Not terribly clean.
Chicken tikka masala had no cream and very little masala sauce.
They charge for starches, including white rice and Nan.
Ordering to a long time.
Air-conditioning was close to nonexistent much better options in the neighborhood. I won’t be back.

I ordered the Chana Chaat, expecting the fresh dish shown in the menu with chickpeas, onions, tomatoes, and spices. Instead, I received a watery item that looked completely different from what was advertised. When I contacted the restaurant to explain the issue, I expected help or at least an apology. Instead, the owner responded rudely and simply told me that this was what I ordered.
It’s disappointing to receive food that doesn’t match the menu description or photo, and even more disappointing to be treated disrespectfully when raising a legitimate concern. I hope the restaurant improves both the quality of its food and its customer service.and it’s look like bad
It was ok. We ordered the chapli kebabs which were flavourful. Also tried the chicken haandi but I was not a fan, simply because there was too many bones in the dish.
It seems to be very popular places for Asian uncles to go to when working.
