- CHChris Heinrich6 days ago5.0My favorite neighborhood joint! The beer selection is always interesting, sure to please everyone. As I frequently tell the bartenders, their food is far better than it needs to be. Be sure to pull up their website on your phone to see their specials, as you won’t know about them otherwise. Tonight I scored their fabulous GK Nashville BBQ Pork Chop special, which featured two succulently sauced chops with a side of fries and their crunchy spicy slaw. I could have sworn I was having steak frites for half the price. I would have been thrilled with their bacon cheeseburger medium rare, but those chops looked too good to resist. I started with their chili-n-chips bowl, which hits the hearty spot whether it’s 25 or 85 outside. I’ve been a big fan since first coming here after the lockdowns lifted, and will return even if I have to leave the UWS. Kyle, Jimmy, Bea, Leo, Kevin, Zack, and don’t forget Dino, are the best and will keep you coming back. As Siskel and Ebert would say when they really meant it: two enthusiastic thumbs up!
