I've been to their other locations, didn't know they had one in midtown east. A friend held their birthday dinner there, and it was perfect for the festive celebration. The drinks were perfect, the food was so delicious, and not a long wait -despite our arrival after a party of 140 folks were seated. Our server, Cesar B, was warm, attentive, fun, and made excellent recommendations. When it came time to sing happy birthday, 140 strangers joined in and got the entire place singing. A great, fun night. I'll definitely be back.

I placed a delivery order on Cinco de Mayo and spent a lot of money expecting good food, but it was a huge disappointment. Some of the tortillas arrived raw while others were completely burned. The consistency was terrible and the food quality was honestly unacceptable.
This is not the Dos Caminos I used to know. The attention to detail was clearly missing, especially for online orders. Everything felt rushed and careless.
I do not recommend ordering online from this restaurant because they don’t pay attention to the quality of the order anymore.

I’ve been coming here regularly, but lately the quality has gone downhill badly. Today I was served raw shrimp that was completely undercooked. I had to send it back because I’m not trying to get sick from a restaurant I used to trust.
What’s worse is that another table next to me was also complaining about their food at the same time. Clearly there’s a serious issue happening in the kitchen lately. Whoever is the Chef /managing the kitchen needs to step up because this is unacceptable and honestly dangerous.
Very disappointing experience.

Went for Cinco de Mayo around 5:30. Wait time was about 45 minutes which was understandable. Once we got seated, we decided to order app and entre all at once since service was goong to take a while. Server came over and said "I'm only going to tale drink orders first" which confused us but he did take our orders. Our entre came before our drinks and apps. We didn't have utensils and our server wasn't around so we had to get it from another staff. We finally flagged down our server to ask for drinks and he said it was coming. We were almost done with our meal before the app came and finally the drinks. Server gave us a round on the house to make up for it but it was definitely not the greatest experience.

I have been a customer of Dos Caminos for decades, but this was ABSOLUTELY THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE I have ever had in over 50 years in New York City, or anywhere in the world for that matter...
Two of us went for lunch on Cinco de Mayo and were immediately seated upstairs which was predominantly empty. We ordered drinks and food. The section filled up after we placed our order. An hour later, all the other customers in the section had received their food and were paying the bill while we had not yet received our food. I asked our server to check on the food. Server promptly responded that she was sorry, but had other customers that didn't want to pay their bill. Server was clearly annoyed, and shared that she was ready to walk out of the job. Another 30 minutes later, the food still had not arrived and I asked to speak to the manager, who never came. I went toward the kitchen to find the manager, and ask him to check on our order. He promptly returned and said "The kitchen does not have time to make your food." Excuse me, what??? He then handed me the General Manager's card and suggested that I call him, which I did. He was unavailable and I was asked to leave a message with his assistant and he would get back to me. My message was similar to this review and, not surprisingly, he did not return the call.
If you want to waste more than two hours of your day only to not eat, this would be the place for you, otherwise, I would steer clear of this disappointment.
