  Food was good. Service was good. Atmosphere was good. Nothing super Amazing about this place. Nothing to write home about. Just another restaurant which serves food.

  Our leadership workshop hit a high note at this spot! We absolutely loved the vibe, the food, and the top-tier service. Even on a weeknight, the place was buzzing with energy—it’s clearly the "it" spot for the after-work crowd. While it’s a popular place (we had to wait a few minutes despite our reservation, and the check-in desk is just inside the door with limited space to wait inside that was standing-room only!), the staff handled our group with total grace. Their excellent service and the fantastic atmosphere made the wait well worth it. We had a blast!

  I sporadically would love coming here on Fridays for a late lunch and sitting at the bar with a good book before heading home for the weekend - having a salad and glass of wine bc it's close to my coworking space. This last time (Fri, April 17) the service was just really disappointing. I was one of maybe three ppl at the bar but it was really hard to get the bartenders attention. I wanted a glass of wine but had no wine list so he listed off wine by the glass options. He mentioned a Sancerre, which I new would be a bit pricier than the other whites, but since he didn't provide me an actual menu, I really didn't have an idea of what I was dealing with. I ordered a glass of the Sancerre and a Burrata salad. The check was something like $59 because my Sancerre was about $35. I'm not one to complain about a nice glass, but it just would have been good to have had a menu in front of me to decide on a less expensive option for a light lunch on a Friday afternoon on the way home for the weekend. Whats more, I had to flag him down after being done for about 10 minutes even though he was just standing in the bar chatting with the other bartender, then after I put my card down, he stood right in front of the check presented with my card in it and cut fruit for another 5 minutes until he was ready to run it. New Yorkers during lunch hour at the bar don't typically have 15 extra minutes to wait to pay. I was really disappointed and as a result, I'm sadly, very likely going to be looking for a new spot for my Friday escapes.
