We visited Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse as a group of 6 adults and 4 young children, and the experience was outstanding.
The staff went above and beyond by accommodating us in a private room, which made a huge difference. It allowed us to fully enjoy our evening while also being mindful not to disturb other guests — something we truly appreciated.
The food was excellent across the board, and the service matched it perfectly. Everything felt smooth, attentive, and well organized from start to finish.
Overall, a fantastic dining experience. I highly recommend this steakhouse, especially for larger groups or families looking for a high-end yet comfortable atmosphere.

This experience was simply fantastic. It’s a beautiful restaurant and the staff were very attentive and helpful in making our time memorable. We made reservations so for us there was no wait! I recommend making reservations since this place gets packed!
The food. Oh my gosh. So good! I got the Surf & Turf Filet Trio which is the Filet Medallions Topped With Mini Crab Cake, Half Lobster Tail, Jumbo Shrimp. It was so delicious and worth the price, I know it says filet medallions with the s so plural but for some reason I thought it was just one filet, so it was a lovely surprise to see that there were three filet medallions! The whole meal was delicious and enjoyable.
The lobster macaroni and cheese was simply divine, I can’t eat fish due to allergies but I can eat shellfish so my waiter ensured me there was no fish by product in the dish. It was lovely and I truly enjoyed my time. I highly recommend this place!

We had a special steak dinner planned for our grandson. When we arrived we were told by the security guard that our grandson was not properly attired. We protested and the guard called the manager who said there were no exceptions to their dress code. My wife and I were furious. At the last moment the security guard told us there was another more casual del frisco grille two blocks away Things happen for a reason and we had a wonderful meal there. The manager could have told us this and maybe offered a drink. Nothing but attitude from this guy who was saved by the security guard. Needless to say we will be going to the grille from now on

5 days in NYC, 5 stakes. this is the worse by far. both, Filet mignon for wife and 45 day aged prime rib for me. the worse by far. I would not give mine 20 days. Hard. meat is low quality no taste. no sauce even to fix somth
told the waiter all. he ignored in fact. told 45 days, and is prime rib. I paid the full price.
if low cost restaurants they would replace the dish. unfortunately here this is not the case. good luck
BTW for 90+ USD steak size was quite small. and not sure if real prime rib - I'm guessing here, it tasted more like non aged NY strip from vacuum aging

Here’s a dramatically over-the-top bad review version:
Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse somehow managed to make a $120 steak taste like it had been emotionally giving up since 2017. The waiter disappeared for so long I considered filing a missing persons report. Our mashed potatoes arrived with the structural integrity of drywall paste, and the ambiance was “corporate divorce dinner with a side of tax fraud.”
The table next to us got seated, ate, paid, and left before we got our drinks. At one point I genuinely thought the hostess forgot we existed and had simply absorbed us into the decor.
For the prices they charge, I expected luxury. Instead I got lukewarm steak, a chair that wobbled like it had a gambling addiction, and a server who looked offended every time we asked for water.
This wasn’t dinner. This was a financial mistake.
