  Dave & Buster's Birthday Review — A 10/10 Triumph If you're looking for a place that turns a kid's birthday into a full-blown legendary event, stop scrolling. Dave & Buster's didn't just host my son's party — they basically threw a parade in his honor. From the moment we walked in, it was clear we were in for something special. The drinks? Flowing like the Mississippi. The food? Arriving in a steady, glorious parade that had us wondering if there was a secret kitchen portal aimed directly at our table. Pizza, wings, sliders, sodas, refills — all delivered with the kind of timing usually reserved for Broadway productions. And the games. Oh, the games. Every claw machine, racing wheel, basketball hoop, and flashing-lights-screaming-noises arcade masterpiece was firing on all cylinders. The kids were lit up brighter than the game floor itself, and honestly? So were the adults. Pretending I didn't elbow my way into the skee-ball lineup would be a lie. But here's the real MVP: Ben, the manager. This man didn't just run the party — he made all of our dreams come true. Need extra cards? Done. Want the cake brought out with theatrical flair? Handled. Got a kid having a meltdown over a stuffed animal prize? Ben was there, calm as a Zen monk, fixing it before any tears hit the carpet. The guy operates with the precision of a Swiss watch and the warmth of your favorite uncle.

  This D&B location is absolutely AMAZING and I come here multiple times a month. Sure I can talk about the large open space (rare for Manhattan) and a fresh recycle of fun and exciting games, but the key thing that makes me come back over and over is just the absolutely BEST-IN-CLASS customer service from the managers and staff. Particularly the managers! From helping with lost items (I lost two things here and both times retrieved it with no issues) to just giving out free ducks because a manager saw that I was interested in a particular rare one that was hard to grab, this location has the best people. And if you don't believe me, feel free to take a look at how many chips I've spent here. Keep up the great work D&B!

  Payton did amazing with answering mine and my friends questions. Bella did amazing serving us and guiding us on what to get. Juan answered questions too and gave us answers when needed on certain policies wigh game cards. Over all amazing time we were there for 4 hours having fun. Originally went for instagram pictures and ends up having si much fun. So recommend !!

  We went to the bar that was inside the arcade space. Waited 15 minutes and still not served. They only had 1 bartender working the bar and he was busy taking a bunch of food orders and also answering a lot of questions. Other people also showed up and walked away. They should definitely have 2 bartenders for this. As this bar was busy (still had 4 open seats) we went to the resturant bar. Same thing. 1 bartender. 6 open seats at the bar. When the bartender came back he attended 2 other couples who showed up AFTER us and so we left. Waited 15 minutes here as well, maybe 20. For a bar that is charging $20-30 a drink, I am surprised they only have 1 bartender running the bar. Lots of patrons walked away yesterday.

  EDIT: Your response to my review is irrelevant and is once again your team’s attempt to brush off an issue that needed to be addressed. We were trying to enter the arcade, which welcomes people of all ages. We did not have any alcohol, nor did we try to order any alcohol. Maybe you should read the whole review and not copy and paste generic responses. Review: I visit this arcade several times a month with my girlfriend, primarily due to the half-price games promotion. Overall, the experience has been enjoyable, but there are a few operational inconsistencies that I believe should be addressed. First, while I would not describe the staff as rude, there appears to be a lack of consistency in policy enforcement. On a recent visit, a security staff member at the entrance required my girlfriend to present identification, despite me being over 25 and eligible to chaperone guests under the venue’s stated policy. This wasn’t a major inconvenience, but she’s the first one and only one who denied us entrance until she saw the ID. I asked her is she aware of the over age 25 chaperone rule, and she said yes, only to tell me she still requires ID from my gf. It made no sense. What if I was bringing in my daughter who wouldn’t have an ID? I would be allowed to chaperone her, and they wouldn’t ask her for ID, right? I see adults bring in multiple children at once with zero issues. Again, first time this has happened and it was not a big deal, but please keep your rules consistent. A negative start to the night. Additionally, I encountered an issue with one of the games (Tailgate Toss). After achieving the high score—which should have awarded the jackpot tickets— the machine displayed an error message before the tickets were credited to my player card. When I notified a game attendant, I was informed that due to a system issue, I would not receive the tickets and could only be compensated with another game play. While I appreciate the offer, it did not address the core issue, as the primary concern was the tickets earned. I told her I beat the game’s high score, and it clearly showed it on the scoreboard that I did. Their system and cameras can also show the number of times I’ve played the game. I informed her that I’m not concerned about the game credits, and that I care more for the tickets that I rightfully earned. She then reiterated the whole computer system matter and said I would have to speak to a manager in order to get my tickets. I felt that she was brushing off the issue and this could’ve been handled better. Lastly, staffing levels within the arcade appear insufficient, particularly during peak evening hours. The space becomes quite crowded, and when games malfunction—which occurs with some frequency—it can take a considerable amount of time to locate an attendant for assistance. In addition, there seems to be limited oversight of customer behavior, as individuals are often sitting on tables and game units, which detracts from the overall environment. With improved staff training, clearer policy enforcement, and better resource allocation, the overall experience could be significantly enhanced. Unfortunately, I will be coming here less often.
