I ordered three crispy chicken tacos, which is an order I get several times a week from various locations across the country. As I always do, I requested the rice and beans on the side because having them inside the tacos makes them soggy. Historically, the rice and beans are simply served in separate containers, and I have never been charged extra for this request. When I went to pay, the cashier informed me that I would be charged for an additional side of rice and an additional side of beans. I politely explained that I was not ordering extra food—I was simply asking for the rice and beans that normally come with the tacos to be served on the side. A second employee then approached and repeated that I would have to pay for two additional sides. I again explained that this has never been the policy at any other location I have visited and that I was not requesting additional portions. Rather than attempting to clarify the situation or provide any level of customer service, one of the employees responded very rudely, stating, “Well, then we’re just going to have to throw away the food if you don’t want to pay for it.” At that point, I told them I no longer wanted the order and left. I found the entire interaction inaccurate, rude, and unprofessional. Even if there was a location-specific policy regarding how the order was entered, the situation could have been handled respectfully and professionally. Instead, I was treated dismissively and made to feel as though I was doing something wrong for ordering my meal the same way I always have. This experience was extremely disappointing and does not reflect the level of service I have come to expect from your brand.

I stood in a line for 15 minutes to get to the server only to be told there is no chicken. They ought to announce it loudly so people don't spend 15 minutes in line and half of theor lunch hour wasting time.
