I ordered a pickup because I wanted to order my food through the app. After picking up the food, I wanted to eat it in the store. However, just as I sat down, the lady who gave me the order stopped me and said that it was a to go order and that I couldn’t eat there.

Ran out of food 3 hours before closing, gave scraps and still charged the entire amount. And dining room and bathroom was closed as well.

Chipotle is usually the ultimate test of luck, and your experience completely depends on what time you walk through the door and who is holding the spoon. When this location is on its game, it is an absolute lifesaver for a quick, filling, and relatively healthy meal, but when it is off, it can be a pretty frustrating experience. If you are ordering a bowl or a burrito in person, the food quality itself is generally consistent with what you expect from the brand. The chicken is usually well-charred and flavorful, the white rice has a great balance of cilantro and lime, and the corn salsa adds the perfect crisp sweetness. However, the assembly line phase is where things can get incredibly unpredictable. Portions seem to change by the minute. One day you will get a bowl stacked so high the lid barely fits, and the next day you will get a single scoop of rice and a tiny, half-spoon fraction of protein that leaves the bowl looking half-empty. If you want a consistent meal, you almost have to stand there and actively advocate for your toppings, which can feel a little exhausting just to get a standard dinner. The online ordering system through the app is a completely separate story and easily the biggest gamble at this location. It is highly recommended to avoid ordering ahead during the peak lunch or dinner rushes because the digital make-line frequently falls behind. You can arrive exactly at your designated pickup time and still end up waiting around the lobby for an extra fifteen to twenty minutes while watching the in-person line move much faster. To make matters worse, the mobile order portions are almost always noticeably smaller than what you get when you order face-to-face, and missing items like sides of chips, guacamole, or vinaigrette happen way too often. If you absolutely have to use the app, make sure you double-check the inside of your bag at the pickup shelf before you walk out the door. The atmosphere inside the dining room is entirely hit-or-miss depending on the hour. During a major rush, the staff is running at top speed to keep up with the crowd, which means the drink station can get a little chaotic with spilled soda, a shortage of forks, or a total lack of napkins. The tables also tend to accumulate empty baskets and rogue pieces of rice when the crew is too busy behind the counter to come out and wipe things down. If you want a clean, calm experience, your best bet is to aim for the sweet spot hours right after the lunch rush or early in the afternoon before the dinner crowd packs the line. At the end of the day, it remains a solid, dependable option because the flavors are good and a heavy bowl can easily cover two full meals for a decent price. It just requires a little bit of strategy. If you have the time to go inside, look the employees in the eye, and watch your food get scooped in person, you will walk away completely satisfied. Just be prepared for a bit of a chaotic environment if you happen to catch them during their busiest shifts.

I came in today and simply tried to scan my app to collect my rewards points. The cashier (a woman wearing glasses) looked at me and asked with a major, condescending attitude: "What is that for? For free chips?" First of all, even if it was for free chips, that is a reward your company literally promotes, your staff shouldn’t be judging customers for using the app. Second of all, it wasn't even for chips; I was just trying to get my points. I actually worked at Chipotle when I was a teenager, and I know firsthand that this company used to pride itself on high standards and treating customers with respect. The hostile energy at the register today was a complete joke. Shoutout to the server on the line who was absolutely wonderful, but management seriously needs to address the attitude at the front register. Unacceptable.
