When I questioned it, the owner/operator Kevin Young confirmed this is their policy. Chick-fil-A corporate sells 5 lbs of ice for $3.00. This location is overcharging the Harlem community and I have escalated this to corporate.

If you are with a party of people, you are not allowed to go to their precious upstairs dining area without someone coming to "collect" you from downstairs. You also cannot go upstairs without purchasing any items. Sometimes, they randomly close the upstairs area way before the official closing time.

Even simple requests took an unreasonable amount of time, and there was no acknowledgment or effort to move things along. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and inattentive, which was frustrating and disappointing. They wasn’t even able to provide me a bag for my drinks.
