Catch New York celebrates 15 years in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District with a renewed food-first mentality and a sharpened focus on service and experience. The restaurant debuts a refreshed space by the renowned Rockwell Group alongside an evolved menu built around its iconic seafood, steak, and sushi program, featuring fish flown in from Tokyo’s Toyosu Market, as the brand continues to evolve under the team behind The Corner Store, The Eighty Six, and Or’esh.
Designed for a streaming, shareable style, the menu features signatures like the Catch Roll, Truffle Sashimi, and Wagyu Fried Rice alongside new additions including Pickled Shishito Peppers, Crudo di Catch, and Angry Lobster Pasta. Returning favorites like Pretzel Croissant Pull Apart Bread and Baked Lobster Mac & Cheese are reimagined, while a refined cocktail program highlights the Catch Dirty Martini, served with furikake mascarpone olives, alongside the Fluffy Margarita and Bananas Foster Old Fashioned.
At its landmark home in the heart of the Meatpacking District, Catch New York continues to define the energy of downtown dining with a lively atmosphere, warm hospitality, and a rooftop with panoramic city views.
Came for my birthday after not having been in a few years. Use to be one of my favorite spots back in the day. Came back because I heard they changed the menu and added a few new things I wanted to try. The strawberry shortcake shaved ice dessert needs to be studied because that was the most delicious thing I ever had - it truly tastes just like the classic good humor ice cream bar. All the desserts were good but just saying that strawberry shortcake was the best of all the options. Sushi is all super fresh and honestly the staff is great. Crab was probably my favorite of everything I tried. Wish portions were better but given where you’re dining they overcharge for the quality vs other sushi / omakase spots. Would def come back again soon

We love catch … April and may 2026 the food has been great. Services is great. Only thing I will say is whenever I book on open table .. 15 mins to 30 mins wait to get to my table post reservation. Other than that great vibe and great food.

We shared 9 dishes and every single one of them hit. Taylor was our server and she was extremely nice and helpful with recommendations. Would definitely come back. Best restaurant I’ve been to in New York. The cocktails were also great!

Restaraunt cancelled my birthday reservation one week prior without any explanation
I had made a group booking for my birthday 4 weeks in advance, having guests coming from Europe.
Just one week before my birthday I got an automatic email from open table that my reservation has been canceled. There was no explanation nor was there any alternatives offered (Catch a part of bigger groups with multiple restaurant).
I went to the restaurant as I couldn’t reach anyone per phone. First, my friends and I were made to wait very long time for a manager who then couldn’t help us and said the reservation team will get in contact with me. Which never happened.
I am totally in shock by this horrible treatment and completely frustrated. Had to look so short term for a big group reservation on my birthday.
This was really not level of service I would expect from such a place. Disappointing.

Came back to @catch after our first visit about 2 years ago during NYC Restaurant Week, and after seeing so many recent videos about changes to the menu, I had high expectations this place did NOT disappoint. It completely exceeded them. The ambiance was beautiful, the service was top-tier, and the staff were incredibly attentive from start to finish. Everything flowed perfectly, from drinks to appetizers to mains. The timing of the food was spot on, and every single dish had me raving. Even the complimentary bread & butter was unforgettable seriously that good. Every bite, every sip just a great experience all around.
What we ordered:
Food:• East Coast Oysters• Catch Roll• Crispy Chicken Bao Buns• Crunchy Rice Cakes
Drinks:• Lychee Martini• Espresso Martini• Lychee Sake-tini• Watermelon Smash
Dessert:• “Hit Me” Chocolate Cake
Complimentary:• Bread & Sorbet
Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. Already looking forward to going back and trying more.
10/10 highly recommend.
