Catch New York celebrates 15 years in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District with a renewed food-first mentality and a sharpened focus on service and experience. The restaurant debuts a refreshed space by the renowned Rockwell Group alongside an evolved menu built around its iconic seafood, steak, and sushi program, featuring fish flown in from Tokyo’s Toyosu Market, as the brand continues to evolve under the team behind The Corner Store, The Eighty Six, and Or’esh.
Designed for a streaming, shareable style, the menu features signatures like the Catch Roll, Truffle Sashimi, and Wagyu Fried Rice alongside new additions including Pickled Shishito Peppers, Crudo di Catch, and Angry Lobster Pasta. Returning favorites like Pretzel Croissant Pull Apart Bread and Baked Lobster Mac & Cheese are reimagined, while a refined cocktail program highlights the Catch Dirty Martini, served with furikake mascarpone olives, alongside the Fluffy Margarita and Bananas Foster Old Fashioned.
At its landmark home in the heart of the Meatpacking District, Catch New York continues to define the energy of downtown dining with a lively atmosphere, warm hospitality, and a rooftop with panoramic city views.

Had such a lovely experience at Catch. The service was fantastic and the food was great. The bread and butter to start was warm and flaky like a croissant and so good wanted to order another one to go. I also really enjoyed the Catch Roll and the Bok Choy salad. The flavors were distinct and memorable. We ended the meal with the hit me chocolate cake. It was rich, decadent and meant to share.

As a former server, I know good, authentic service when I experience it, and I’ve been a CATCH lover since long before the menu revamp.
I went this past Friday for a girls’ night and had such a blast! It was busy, but everyone from the guy at the front door to the hostess, busser, our server Raymond, and the manager Aurelia was ON IT. Everyone was so kind, attentive, and genuinely hospitable.
The food and drinks were delicious, and I truly have zero complaints! I already can’t wait to come back. CATCH has always felt like such a fun, welcoming place, and this visit made me feel right at home. Thank you to the entire team! The hard work and all the new details definitely don’t go unnoticed!!

My sister and I went to Catch a few weeks ago and we are still talking about the delicious food and exceptional service! Our server Claire and the staff made us feel so welcomed and were so attentive throughout our dining experience. Starting off with a the surf and turf roll was the perfect choice, it was mouth watering and would definitely order this again. After we finished our roll Claire came back over with a few surprises that made us feel special. For our entrees we had one of their great steak options and my sister had the branzino in which both were exceptional. And to finish off the shaved strawberry dessert was the perfect recommendation from Claire since we wanted some light and sweet! The whole experience from start to finish was amazing and I’d definitely recommend asking for Claire since she was very knowledgeable with her recommendations and always had a smile on her face!

I was the first to arrive for our dinner reservation and, upon checking in, was informed that I could not be seated until our entire party had arrived. While I can understand this policy when a restaurant is busy and tables are in high demand, it was difficult to understand in this situation. The restaurant had just recently opened for the evening, and only five to seven of approximately 60–70 tables appeared to be occupied.
When you know you’re about to spend $500–$700 on dinner, being asked to wait rather than being welcomed to the table starts the experience on the wrong note. More importantly, hospitality is often communicated through small decisions like this. A policy may make operational sense, but how and when it is applied can determine whether a guest feels welcomed or simply processed.
What made the experience particularly disappointing was watching another party being seated without all of their guests present. At that point, it was no longer simply about a policy—it raised the question of why it was applied to us but not to others.
We have always enjoyed dining at the Miami and Las Vegas locations, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. At this level of dining, guests expect more than great food; they expect to feel valued and welcomed. Unfortunately, this interaction made us question whether we would return to this location.

Let me start by saying that I usually LOVE Catch. I’ve been to this location multiple times as well as Las Vegas.
Las Vegas is a VIBE btw.
My most recent experience here the other weekend was just… meh. Don’t get me wrong I love the food- $600 though?? Didn’t feel great about that. So I’ll break it up into Good vs Bad. Make it simple for you all.
Good:
1. Food
2. Klondike
3. Love the porter house
4. Our waiter was very kind, attentive. Did a great job
Bad:
1. Hostess’s. I know this is an NYC thing but it’s so cringey and annoying to check in for your table and wait 30 minutes in an empty restaurant to be sat. Like what is the point of this? I kid you not. You got there at 7 pm on a Sunday and NO ONE was there and we still had to wait.
2. Our dinner was over $600. We were shocked by the price tag. Like I said, I’ve been here multiple times. I’ve had the porter house before. I understand that prices have gone up and I completely understand that restaurant margins are thin to begin with, but $200 for a steak feels like A LOT. Idk. I just felt like I could’ve spent that money on better food and better things.
will I come back? I still love this restaurant but I do feel like there are better options in this city and with the heavy price of our last dinner I’m going to wait a few years before dining here again.
