Big things come in small packages. Welcome to our second Midtown East location situated in the 400 Madison Avenue Building. This new Bluestone Lane will be a one-stop Coffee Shop. Servicing the locals of the bustling Midtown East hub. It will be the perfect spot for a pick-me-up after a day shopping on 5th Ave or an escape from a busy day in the office. Located just a few blocks from Rockefeller Center, Grand Central Terminal, 5th Avenue shopping, MoMA and Bryant Park, BL 400 Madison provides excellent proximity to major Manhattan attractions. The store design This location is a little pocket rocket, but that doesn't mean our design team put any less effort into the finer details. With mint herringbone tiles from Mercury Mosaics, large pendant lights and our sleek pre-order shelving. For those in a hurry or the connoisseur, there is a standing bar where our locals will be able to drop a quick espresso before heading back to the office. Food and drink offering This location squeezes in your favorite elements from all of our stores and is dedicated to the craft of delivering the perfect Coffee and service focusing on our Locals. With this in mind, 400 Madison's main emphasis will be our perfectly prepared Espresso and full drinks menu including our Wellness Latte range alongside gluten-free artisanal Husk Bakeshop treats and Balthazar Bakery pastries.

    Went in dead quiet on a Sunday 8am and, for a place that's supposed to be Melbourne-inspired, I was disappointed. App-based ordering with no interest or interaction from barista, and a disappointing (even for the US) flat white. Burnt oat milk and burnt coffee.

    I ordered a medium cappuccino. The coffee was awful, way too hot. The milk was frothed incorrectly, even though they use professional equipment. The photo shows the coffee before I even started drinking it. This is not how a cappuccino is made. I’ll never go there again.

    Went into this shop looking for a delectable coffee and instead was met with two awful women at the counter who proceeded to judge the order we asked for and then made fun of us with her coworker in front of us for asking if there was any zero sugar syrups/alternative...then proceeded to be nasty while finishing the transaction. Don't go here unless you're looking to be faced with unnecessary animosity and judgement. Because she misheard what we asked for, she then wants to be dumb... Sugar free syrups are a lot different than sugar free sugars honey!
