  The most incredible southern comfort food and the freshest farm to table like grandma is cooking. The fried chicken was outrageous, but everything absolutely was show stopping. The kindest staff and most wonderful environment. Came here for 2 year anniversary and it did not disappoint.

  SCAM ALERT!!!! These people are clearly paying for positive reviews. If you can get a table last minute on a weekend THERE’S A REASON! First of all, they have AI folding signs outside which should be a big red flag that they lack the integrity or budget to make their own or hire an actual artist. Second, we were not informed that the only option was a pre fixe menu, which despite them later saying is “their policy”, was not explained to us prior to sitting. Upon saying we’d rather go somewhere else because we weren’t interested in the pre fixe, we were told that we would be expected to pay $20 per person as a cancellation fee, which under NYS law is not legal. There is no breach of contract if you make a reservation and show up, then decide not to dine there. This restaurant did not lose any revenue by having us “cancel”, because it was completely empty. Clearly, based on many negative reviews, the food is bad, they rely on these scammy tactics to get people to spend way more than they intend, and trap them if they decide that’s not how they’d like to spend their money or time. This is blatant extortion in a tacky tourist trap with fake paintings of dogs in military uniforms all over the wall. They act like their restaurant is Michelin starred while the staff is in T-shirts and jeans. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION HERE! Whoever created this “policy” is a crook, spend your time and energy making good food so you don’t have to trap people in your restaurant.

  this place is a scam, you can literally find the owners mugshot online. go anywhere else but here. extremely overpriced ($60 for fried chicken??) and when I tried to leave/explain that the menu was too expensive, they charged me $100 as a “no show fee” even though we’d already showed up on time. they clearly needed the $100, the place was empty on a saturday night which should’ve been the first red flag. really gross.

  So beyond intimate and cozy (and so chic), food was truly beyond incredible and if southern comfort met New York City expectations. Service was AMAZING (Anthony is iconic) and you truly get the southern hospitality if it met New York City. LOVE
