This was a great find!! The service was excellent. The variety was amazing! The pizza crust was delicious! The flavours were wicked! And not salty at all. The pizza was just perfect, not heavy feeling after you eat it. If you are in Manhattan….try them! You will be happy!
Great place worth stopping by for a slice, whether you're just about to start a long day in the city or need a quick lunch to fuel up. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The vibes were great and I loved that they were playing 80s music on the radio. There's also a good amount of seating (counter seats and some high tables), and it was also very clean inside, including the restroom (it was cold in there too, thankfully!). Pizza was delicious, fresh, and fairly priced, especially for Midtown Manhattan. Perfectly simple. If (when) I visit the city again, I will for sure be back.

We went up to Manhattan for a couple of days, and since it was our young daughter's first trip to New York City, we wanted to give her the quintessential NYC pizza experience. Abitino's fit the bill and then some. The pizza was fantastic, with a perfectly crisp crust, flavorful sauce, and generous toppings. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making our family feel right at home. What really stood out was the hospitality. The owner personally helped carry our plates to our table, a small gesture that spoke volumes about how much they care about their customers. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip, and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in the city.

This was my first time visiting, and unfortunately, it wasn’t a great experience.
When I first walked in, everything seemed calm and welcoming. However, once more customers started coming in, the atmosphere changed completely. The employee behind the counter began slamming the pizza oven doors, yelling at customers, and seemed unable to handle the pressure.
At one point, my mom was simply trying to ask my younger brother what he had ordered so she could tell the employee, pick up the pizza, and pay. Instead of being patient, he yelled at her. He also raised his voice at another customer while we were there.
The prices also seemed much higher than expected. Two pizzas and two sodas came to almost $19, and even the sodas felt overpriced.
I understand that restaurants can get busy, but if your staff is consistently overwhelmed, it may be a sign that more employees are needed during peak hours. Customers shouldn’t have to deal with being yelled at because the restaurant is busy.
I hope management addresses both the customer service and staffing issues, because the experience left a very negative first impression.
