    Food was delicious. Every bite carefully thought out and melts in your mouth. Ambiance was chic and very NYC. Music was a vibe. A DJ would be nice 😉. So fun to come with friends, date or solo and sit next to some cool ppl. Great experience! Shout out to Juan and Mark for making our experience so fun.

    Exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. Easily one of the best upscale sushi experiences I’ve had!!

    Visited Sushi by Bou for the Tuna Spectacle and had a strong overall experience. Entry is through an art gallery into a speakeasy-style sushi bar, which creates a unique setting. The highlight is the live breakdown of a roughly 200 lb bluefin tuna. Chefs carve the fish in front of guests and serve multiple cuts, from lean akami to rich otoro, within minutes of preparation. This adds both freshness and an interactive element to the omakase. The atmosphere is more energetic than traditional omakase, but service remains organized and informative throughout. A well executed experience that combines quality sushi with a live presentation.

    This is very VERY basic omakase.. nothing special or different in my opinion. We made a reservation for 2 for the Bou Reserve Omakase.. we had high hopes after reading the menu but were very underwhelmed and pretty disappointed. The caviar bump in the beginning was nice but throughout the dinner we were left more hungry. The foie gras snow was basically nonexistent - we barely got any on top of our fish. The truffle and bone marrow that was promised? Also extremely sparse. Couldn’t taste the difference, and in my opinion, not worth the upgrade at all. I’ve had better omakase for half the price in the city. This place is all about the gimmick and less about quality or experience. The service was fine, very bare minimum, but for $300+ we expected much more. Would suggest being less stingy on the “upgrade add ons”.
