I went to the New Hartford location yesterday, Wednesday, October 7th. I had been craving a dunkin coffee for a while. I don't have my own vehicle and I borrow a family vehicle on occasion. I was very excited that i had time before work to grab my usual. I pulled in the parking lot (I don't like the drive through) and was pleasently surprised that there was no one waiting in line. As soon as I entered the establishment, the female employee behind the counter said "ugh, cant even get 10 minutes" I am a person with crippling anxiety. I wanted to just turn around and walk out because I felt so uncomfortable and unwanted, but I really wanted my coffee. I proceeded to order, and while she was not rude, per say, she made no eye contact and really made me feel like I was an inconvenience. I have worked in customer service for over 20 years, I would never treat a customer like that. No one has to know I have anxiety, it's no ones buisiness, but because I do, she most definitely triggered it. And during the time i was waiting for my coffee, which was a matter of minutes, she said numerous times, "I hope someone shoots me so that I can go home." I am in no hurry to return to this location. I would like to add though, that whoever her coworker was, he was much more professional and did not comment on her ridiculous statements.
