  Good price drops and a stress-free shopping experience! We used to only shop at Stop & Shop in Nanuet when they had really good sales because their prices were generally higher than ShopRite. Lately, though, they’ve noticeably lowered their prices, so it’s become our regular weekly grocery spot! What keeps us coming back is how relaxed the experience is—the aisles are spacious, parking is always easy, and it never feels rushed. The store is clean, well-stocked, and has solid produce and meat departments. The bakery is decent (they always seem to be churning out cupcakes!). Only odd thing was getting charged tax on a pre-packaged bakery cookie tub—likely just an accidental register miscode, but worth keeping an eye on your receipt. Overall, a calm place to do your weekly shopping!

  Big store large selection. Clean. Some employees very nice and helpful. Majority of workers horrible. No workers on floor to help. Cashiers are the laziest. Do not ask to help bag. They will just keep pushing items together. They do not say anything when opening, they will call over people who are third and fourth in line instead of the next person. They are there to collect a pay check and to hell with customer. Stop and Shop New City, much friendlier and helpful.
