  You walk in to a very bright clean store. Upon arrival you are greeted with a genuine smile. The menu is limited which is good. We had the jerk chicken with rice and beans and plantains on the side. We were offered the option of gravy on the chicken but opted to go naked. The chicken was moist with crispy skin and a nice balance of spice. There was a sauce served on the side which was nicely spiced and worked well with the chicken. As for the rice and beans, good flavor and the rice was not sticky in fact it was fluffy! The store itself is small but the flavor was big. On the way out I grabbed the .ast of their patties , one jerk chicken the other vegetable. The only downside was the patties were a little on the light side but again good flavor.

  Today was my first time here. I was pleasantly surprised. I had the jerk chicken. It was a nice portion. Mac & cheese can be hit or miss due to a persons taste buds, but I enjoyed it. I will be back.

  An organization recently ordered food from this establishment for an event. My mom attended the event and ate the food from 876 Jerk. My mom is very particular about what she eats, as she is able to distinguish the quality of the ingredients while consuming the meal and thereafter. My mom totally enjoyed the meal and spoke well of the taste and quality of the food. Believe me, this is no small matter. Thereafter, based on the above, my daughter & I decided to order something from their menu. We both enjoyed what we ordered (Spicy beef patty & Jerk Mac & Cheese) thoroughly! Kudos to 876 Jerk!

  I literally stopped after I took 2 bites of the jerk pork to write this review. The staff was very friendly, food is out of this world. I hope more people start coming here because the staff seemed very grateful I stopped in. I go to Jamaican spots in Middletown all the time time and this competes if not better
