5 Star Indian Restaurant is an unassuming, traditional Indian eatery in Long Island City offering a wide-ranging menu of classic authentic dishes. Known for its rich curries, fragrant biryanis, hot tandoori breads, and late-night hours, it serves as a reliable local go-to for takeout, delivery, and casual dining. Standout dishes include chicken tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, and garlic naan. While the dining room interior is simple and basic, the generous portion sizes, rich spices, and reasonable prices make it a satisfying neighborhood pick.

We expected a lot from this place because it calls itself a “5-star” establishment, but unfortunately, it was disappointing. The food is overpriced, and the portion sizes are quite small for what you pay. If you’re going to charge premium prices and have a beautiful venue, the food presentation should match that standard. Overall, the experience didn’t live up to the expectations.

Why is it 5-star Indian Restaurant but only 4.2 Star? Is it wrong rating or wrong name?
