  I am a professional driver and regularly drive large portions of the NYS Thruway. Since the remodel the service and selection at this service plaza has dramatically declined. On a good day the workers are apathetic. To a bad day when they are surly or rude. The store posts deceptive and misleading signage. Above the roller grill they have a sign which reads “Two hotdogs and any soda or water $9.99”, with no qualifiers on the soda or water selection. I got my hotdogs and a 24oz bottle of Poland Springs water, which clearly falls in the category of “any water”. Attempting to use this offer I was told that was the wrong water. Only 16.9oz Applegreen water was allowed. While attempting to explain that is not what the sign says, a woman working at Burger King came in the store, immediately inserted herself in the conversation, telling me, “No one disrespects my mama”. I explained I was not disrespecting anyone. I was trying to show the sign. The Burger King refuses to accept credit cards at the register. The hide the credit card reader behind a sign and tell people to use the kiosk to order if paying with a credit card. Just another example of the decline in customer service since the remodel. Prior to the remodel the selection was far superior with a McDonald’s, Pizza, and Hersheys ice cream. The employees were far more friendly and provided superior customer service. It is a shame how this service plaza has declined.

  I liked the layout of this service plaza. Unfortunately, when I saw a big dog at the burger king counter, his nose was at the counter. Why was he allowed in? Why was the owner served? This dig was not a service dog or in training.There is a drive thru if the guy was hungry. Disappointed, very disappointed with "Davey from resource group" and the service plaza

  Bathrooms are decent enough but my concern I have is with the barista at Starbucks. The way you treated the elderly woman in front of me, I was flabbergasted. To top it off you rolled your eyes and sighed when your tip was the change part of her transaction. She couldn’t believe it- I can tell due to how we glanced at each other while she waited. My turn was a few minutes ago, even though I tried to be kind having just witnessed your bad attitude. I wait for the refresher, to see you start arguing loudly with your male coworker about how he shouldn’t have to go to the bathroom, yelling at him because he was 20 minutes late. Girl, you are the worst. I hope you never find yourself in need of a restroom and are screamed at like what you did to belittle him. He could have something going on you don’t need to know about. Or, just maybe he needed a breather to work with you for the shift. I’ll be coming back for a remake in a few minutes. Good grief.
