Mariner's Harbor, the finest seafood house in the Hudson Valley, is located on Kingston's historic Rondout waterfront at the foot of Broadway. Arrive by car or boat to dine in our glassed-in porch or outdoor patio, the perfect setting for lunch or dinner!
Mediocre experience. As other reviewers have pointed out, the bread was stale. I have never been more disappointed by a crock of French onion soup. I feel the need to go get a good bowl of FOS to wash the taste out of my mouth. Broth was flavorless, bland cheese, bread in the soup had a mildew flavor. In fact, the entire restaurant had a mildewy odor. Caesar salad was gas station quality. I am not a picky person and hardly ever complain but feel the need to give this feedback. We did order the king pow shrimp and that was quite good! I think this restaurant could do a better job in many different aspects. Dining out is expensive and I wouldn’t want anyone else to face this same disappointment.

We stopped here for lunch on our way from NYC to Lake Placid. Top tier stop. I really try to go by reviews when deciding on a place randomly while traveling and I have to say this couldn’t have gone better for us. The drinks were great (both for the drinkers and sober alike) The service was excellent. And the food was delicious. The size and quality of the lobster roll on its own warrants the 5 star review. We also came with an 18 month old and everything was super kid friendly and accommodating. I would definitely return here.

Went in to get a beer because I heard live music. The beer selection is limited, they had nothing that was interested in I finally settled on a Coors banquet. I know not my first choice bartender brought me back a Coors light I said no regular Coors banquet. She got really rude and said I don’t know what you’re talking about. At that point, I said OK Michelob ultra. She gave it to me. I paid. She basically threw my change back at me. I was still gonna tip. But decided not to I took two sips of the ultra and left.

Unless the hostess “Nicole” knows you you will not be seated. Waited and spent money for two hours. Waiting for a table. We weren’t part of the only ones that are allowed to make reservations. So wasted time and money at this dump. Stay away. The food isn’t even that good. Unless you are friends with the staff. Unprofessional. Unorganized. Been a while since being there. Plenty of better restaurants in the area. Mariners is trash!

We come here almost every week, and it never disappoints. It’s the perfect place for both family dinners and date nights. The waterfront outdoor seating is beautiful, the atmosphere is cozy, and everyone on the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The owner is always so welcoming and present, which makes every visit feel personal.
The food is always fresh, comforting, and just a step above. Our favorites are the sesame-crusted ahi tuna, salmon, mussels, chicken parm, lobster bisque, and you have to save room for the tiramisu! Honestly, we’ve loved everything we’ve tried. We always leave full, happy, and already looking forward to our next visit!
