We tried the place on our way to JFK. Loved the service. Since the place isn't too large, there was only one waitress, but she was very nice and communicated the menu clearly and once we made our choices, the food came out piping hot and spiced to our specifications. We loved the chilli paneer and fried lotus root appetizers. The indo-chinese options we picked for our vegetarian family were excellent too.
I came here with my family because we were staying nearby. We thought the food would be amazing because we'd read great reviews. However, we ended up waiting for a very long time.
We asked for specific dishes, and they got the order completely wrong. When we sent them back, they brought out the same wrong dish again, and the waitress kept staring at us and giving us nasty looks because we complained.
Honestly, I'd save your money and just go to a nearby fast food place instead. The service was unhelpful, the food all tasted the same, and there was an unpleasant smell, like the seasoning or spices were off, masking a strange odor.

I have dined at the restaurant and have also gotten take out for my Private Jet Clients.
My clients were so happy with the taste and the presentation of the dishes. The portion are very large.
The Spices are amazing ., The quality of the food and. the Quantity is very impressive.
The Staff is very accommodating and pay special attention to details and dietary restrictions .
Definitely my go to restaurant ..for my Clients.

This is about the take-out order through Uber Eats. We received 3 orders of butter chicken, each with three dry slivers of chicken, swimming in a thin, sweet, tomatoey sauce with no flavor--see pics. Almost $60.00 for chicken that would not even make up one chicken breast--and a sauce that seems like it came from a can--no self respecting chef would send this out. I contacted Uber Eats three times--once they ended the chat on me, then they refused to give a credit inspite of my detailed pics--saying the restaurant sent out food according to their recipe so too bad for me. The rest of my order was fine but certainly not up to the standard of their dine-in experience. Seems they skimp on the quality of the take-out orders. We've eaten-in at this place many times--the food was decent and the service good--but this $60. butter chicken swill which embarrassed my in front of my guests may be the end of that. Too bad. Uber Eats should also have recified the situation--it's the first time I've reached out to them about a dish--I wasn't trying to scam anyone. Watch the video--no, it wasn't AFTER we took out the chicken--you can see from the level in the bowl---that is how it came. Do better!

If I had to give a zero I would! I am sooo disappointed with the service that they provided. They couldn’t even manage to fix the problem after I gave them a second chance to fix it.
My daughter and I had called in to make an order on the phone. We have ordered 3 hot and sour veggie soup. 1 butter chicken spice levelers supposed to be medium. Basmati rice , butter naan and garlic butter.
I have been to this restaurant multiple times in Long Island and we have ordered this soup many times before. About 6 months ago we ordered once again and the soup came up very spicy to the point it gave me a tongue blister. I just threw it out but didn’t call them, because I have had goo there before and it was never that spicy.
Today I decided to call again because my kids and I are sick. So we decided to get the soup. They send it 3 soup that were soooo spicy to the point my ears were ringing and the tip of my tongue was burning hot. I waited almost 1 hour for delivery.
This time I decided to call them and make a complaint, the lady in the phone didn’t pass me the phone with a manager and said that she would take care of it next time. ( meaning they didn’t want to give the money back or change the soup today)
I had told them that last time I didn’t call them to complain but this time it was too much.
After I talked to the lady on the phone that I want my refund or I will call and make a complaint so she decided that they would make another soup and sent it out. I gave them my address, phone number and my name. No one called me to tell me that the delivery was made. So I called them 2 hours if not almost 3 hours later to ask where is my soup, she said that they delivered it and that they have a picture and that they called me. I have not received my soup! They lady hung up the phone on me and when I called back they are just declining the call.
Now I will be complaining to consumers affair, because that was very wrong of them.
Update: Thank you for your response. I feel it is important to clarify what actually happened from my perspective.
I never yelled at, cursed at, or verbally abused any member of your staff. I was frustrated, and understandably so, because my family and I had waited for our order, only to receive food that was so spicy it was impossible for us to eat, even though we requested a medium spice level.
When I called, my goal was simply to resolve the issue. I asked for either a refund or a replacement. I was told that a replacement soup would be sent, so I provided my name, address, and phone number again. Unfortunately, I waited for several more hours and never received the replacement. No one contacted me to let me know there was a problem or that the delivery had supposedly been completed.
When I called back to ask where my replacement order was, I was told it had already been delivered. I explained that I had not received it. Instead of helping me investigate what happened, the call ended, and my subsequent calls were not answered.
I understand that because my order was placed through Uber Eats, refunds are handled through their platform. My disappointment was never about your inability to issue a refund directly—it was about the fact that the replacement I was promised never reached me and that I felt my concerns were not handled appropriately.
I have been a customer before because I genuinely enjoyed your food, which is why I gave your restaurant another chance. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling disappointed. My review reflects my personal experience and was written honestly. I sincerely hope future customers have a better experience than mine.
