  We totally got scammed on the ticket redemption. They had a whole wall of giant plushies with clearly marked ticket prices so we played a ton extra to win one but when we went to redeem it, they told us that those were only “display ones” and they were out of stock despite them still being listed. But they couldn’t give us the display ones because of course they’re like display pastries that clearly go bad 🤷‍♂️ Good to know!

  I had an amazing experience at the Dave & Buster’s in Islandia thanks to Jaquan, who truly went above and beyond. From the moment we arrived, he made sure everything ran smoothly and checked in multiple times to make sure we were taken care of. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail stood out the entire visit. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about guests the way he does. Because of Jaquan, our night was exceptional. Highly recommend this location!

  I had a great experience at Dave & Buster’s thanks to Jaquan, one of the managers. He was professional, welcoming, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about both the customers and his team. He handled everything with a positive attitude and excellent customer service, which made our visit even more enjoyable. Managers like Jaquan are a big part of what keeps people coming back. Highly recommend this location!

  Come here to play games but don't ever eat here! Last night, it was only me two or three couples and two groups watching the sports screen on the other side of the dining room. It's a big dining room so that being said this is a VERY small amount of people. There was no excuse for why it took my waiter like 30 minutes to come to my table to clear my table, make my food, BRING ME MY BILL...THIRTY MINUTES IN BETWEEN! AND THIS WAS INCLUDING ME GETTING UP FROM THE TABLE TO ASK FOR A WAITER, IF I HADN'T DONE THAT GOD KNOWS HOW MUCH LONGER I WOULD HAVE BEEN WAITING THERE looking like a fool. In other restaurants you usually stay for less than an hour once you're done ordering/eating/ paying for the meal altogether. I don't regret telling my waiter to take my dessert back to the kitchen because God knows how much longer I would have had to wait for someone to come to my table again after I'm done eating for like 5 or 6 minutes just to give me the bill i was so close to just getting up and walking out without paying!! Also those BBQ ribs sucked! Barely any meat between the bones.

  Dave & Buster's Islandia has become a reliable go-to for us, five visits now, including a birthday celebration that the team handled smoothly. It works on two fronts most places can't pull off at once: the food is genuinely good, and the arcade floor is huge and well kept. On the food side, the kitchen delivers more than you'd expect from a place built around games. The wings come out crisp and properly sauced, the pasta dishes are generous and full of flavor, and the sweet potato fries are a standout side. Desserts close it out right, the brownie and the sundae are both worth saving room for. Service has been attentive and friendly every time, which matters when you're managing a group or a party. The game floor is the main event, rows of arcade classics, racing and shooter cabinets, skee-ball, basketball, air hockey, and the big-ticket redemption machines, all clean and in working order. The space is bright, energetic, and easy to navigate. It runs loud, as any arcade does, but never to the point where you can't talk at your table. The crowd is a healthy mix of families, kids, and groups, and it's an easy environment to bring children into. Parking has never been a problem on any visit. For a spot that has to balance a full kitchen with a massive entertainment floor, this location pulls both off well.
