- DDDianaJun 20, 20261.0I am deeply disturbed by my experience at this Dunkin on June 19 (Juneteenth) between approximately 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM. While visiting this location with my 19-month-old autistic son, I observed two employees making fun of him. My child was simply being himself, yet these workers appeared to mock his behavior and laugh at him. As a mother, watching grown adults ridicule a toddler—especially a child with autism—was heartbreaking, humiliating, and completely unacceptable. What makes this even more disturbing is that this occurred on Juneteenth, and my son is a Black child. Every customer deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of age, race, or disability. Instead, my family was made to feel unwelcome and judged. The lack of professionalism, compassion, and basic human decency displayed by these employees was shocking. No parent should have to worry about their child being mocked while simply trying to buy a coffee. Autism is not something to laugh at, and neither is a young child’s differences. I hope management takes this complaint seriously, reviews who was working during that time, and provides appropriate training and accountability. Until then, I cannot recommend this location to anyone, especially families with children or individuals with disabilities.
