  I took my daughter here for dinner this evening, and we had such a wonderful experience! Everything was delicious, starting with the Brussels sprouts appetizer, which was packed with flavor and a generous portion. My daughter ordered the Wagyu sliders, which she absolutely loves and says are fantastic. After our server highly recommended the short rib, I decided to give it a try, and WOW! It was incredible! The meat was incredibly tender and practically melted in my mouth, with none of the visible fat I’ve experienced at other restaurants. It was honestly one of the best short ribs I’ve had! The service was attentive and friendly throughout the evening, and a special touch was the chef coming out of the kitchen to check on us. He was so personable, and that personal touch really stood out. It’s wonderful to see a chef who takes the time to connect with guests and make sure they’re enjoying their meal Between the outstanding food, warm hospitality, and the pleasure of being with my daughter who was home for the weekend, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We left happy, satisfied, and already looking forward to coming back for brunch on Sunday. Highly recommend!

  Food is good but the service is unbearable. It’s actually some of the worst service I’ve ever seen. 20 minutes for a drink. Kids food came out 35 minute before ours and they had the audacity to ask us how everything was. The couples on both sides of us complaining as well. One couple asked for a check and it took over twenty minutes and then the other couple asked for dessert which took 30 minutes. I literally asked for the check as they brought out our food and it took 20 minutes I had a front row seat to the owner as he just laughed and had a good time with his buddies and wife at the bar. Meanwhile the service was awful and he couldn’t care less Again food was good but service was awful

  It was a spectacular experience I couldn’t expect beforehand. Just stopped for a quick dinner and got the most tasty food I could ask for. I looked at other tables and could tell it worth trying. Creative, fresh, generous portions with food you’d expect in Europe. Not to mention warm welcoming by everyone working - from waiter to the owner.

  I am thrilled that we have this local place in Hopewell! We needed it! Food is fabulous, wonderful atmosphere, service very attentive, and the owner is always there and extremely welcoming and pleasant. We go weekly and look forward to each and every time. I have very high expectations when it comes to eating out and this place checks all the boxes! Huge step up from what was there previously.

  My husband and I stopped into Bistro 52 last night to have dinner. Cher, a popular local performer, best known for Pipes and Peanut Butter, a musical duo, and Jungle Love, was singing solo, and the music was wonderful. I ordered the short ribs and it was “fall off the bone” delicious. We liked our dinners so much, we made a reservation to return with family another evening.
