I had never heard of acme markets however I was highly impressed. All products on the shelves were faced out which made it kind of fun walking down the aisles. Their prices are okay nothing spectacular but then what supermarket has good prices anyway. The store was very clean the staff was very friendly

First and LAST time EVER coming into this Acme, let alone any other. Pricing is all wrong. Meat department took 15 minutes to get someone to bother to help, and then they said, “Well, no one’s here today so I guess I’m your de facto help. But I can’t cut any meat.” So much for the local butcher positioning.
Then, we ran into the kicker of the day…the large woman with silver hair and glasses (don’t know her name or I’d use it) berated my wife and I for having our dog with us. She claimed that even service dogs aren’t allowed in the store anymore due to an “incident” a couple of weeks ago. First of all, that is against the law. Second, her entire attitude was just disgusting. She clearly doesn’t like animals (or her job) given the aggression and attitude.
Never mind the fact that the store wasn’t that clean, and the rest of the staff look miserable being there.
Needless to say, in our town there are TONS of AMAZING options with stores like Stop N Shop, Hannaford and Shop Rite. So this isn’t a big loss for us…but thousands of dollars in revenue to this store being given to another. Buh bye!

Half the dairy isle has been empty for weeks. I got a box of lance crackers that were almost 3 months out of date. A bottle of franks red hot that had mold on the top inside under the wrapper so I didn't see it when I purchased it. I got a Calypso drink that was over 1 month out of date and every one of them on the shelves were expired. I also purchased a thing of strawberries with mango that looked fine but tasted and smelled like someone mixed them with vodka before they packaged them. This was all within the last month. The people are nice for the most part. I've never gotten an attitude from anyone there but management needs to step up or they need to hire people that are going to pay more attention and actually rotate shelves and keep the floors clean.

I order delivery from this store directly from acme. Frozen items arrive thawed more often than they do frozen. Refrigerated items arrive room temperature which is definitely a health hazard
I choose replacement items in case an item is out of stock but instead of giving me the replacement order they give me nothing. I even clicked the "chat with shopper" option and said "replace it with anything similar" (of which there would be dozens of choices) and they still didn't give me anything in replacement.
Who is running this store?
Edit: On my next order more than half of my items never arrived lmao. You've got to be kidding me. Retribution or even more incompetence?
They said they'd deliver the missing items later that day... Guess what... It was a lie.
This store is run by scam artists who don't even care about getting their customers sick.
