Perhaps it’s due to the golf course being a predominant feature of this site, but the Social Kitchen and Bar shouldn’t be disregarded. Why more folks haven’t visited this restaurant is unknown to me. This is at least the fifth meal I’ve had here over the course of two years, and I’m delightfully impressed by the layers of flavors in every dish. The red cabbage coleslaw adds a refreshing break from the deep fried chicken breast that is the crunchy, juicy, star of the sandwich (as it should be). Even more unexpected is the slice of pickled green tomato added in lieu of the typical pickle topping - this seemingly benign addition to the sandwich adds a burst of light vinegar to cut through the richness of the other ingredients and brings it all together. Folks should frequent this spot, as the menu changes with the season and you never know what creative culinary creations the chef will introduce.
