  I loved the Crisp Chicken Buns while visiting the restaurant last month. This time I ordered it online, and it was ready as ordered and just as delicious! (By the way, after arriving home, I kept it in my car in the hot sun, which kept it warm and perfect while waiting for my dinner time.) I will be doing this again!

  Dined @ the Harriman location last night and I’m so happy we did. This place has been on our list for about a year now and it was worth all the wait. The space is quaint and cozy, decor is simple but warm and I love it. Not every place needs to sit 50+. Really makes for a more personal experience. Music had me doing my little shimmy in my seat too! We ordered the octopus, hush puppies, duck empanadas and plantains and they hit the nail on every single head. My goodness gracious, we still can’t stop talking about it. Cooled to perfection, truly tasted fresh and made with lots of love and care. Plantains were perfectly ripe and soft, as they should be. We followed that with their special coconut bread pudding and literally grabbed the attention of the table next to us, ladies if you stumble upon this - it was as good as it looked. We took the Rasta pasta with chicken home and that was the truest encore I’ve ever experienced. Danielle our server deserved every last bit of the 22% tip we left her ;) all smiles all night, attentive enough to not miss a beat. Can’t wait to be back for brunch and everything else on your dinner menu! Hahaha keep it up guys you’re all doing amazing.

  Really great place. Food was amazing. We picked this place randomly because it was on our way home from Legoland and were blown away. I recommend the lavender ginger lemonade!

  I loved the food here. It was fresh and delicious! We had the oxtails with peas and rice, duck empinadas , caesar salad and for dessert caramelized banana bread that was outrageous! The service was excellent! The restaurant welcoming. Check out the menu on line. It is mouthwatering and unique! Thank you for a wonderful dinner!

  My husband and I were recommended to come to An Artistic Taste from a friend and it didn't disappoint. We heard not to go the harriman one because it's quite small, so we went to their second location in Newburgh, which everyone should go to. The decorations when you walk in are so inviting and then they have this beautiful outside that transports you right into Jamaica, where amazing island music is playing. Our server Diane was AMAZING, she paid attention to detail, was very patient with us, and had a good time laughing with us. I the drink I had was amazing! And the plantains were super delicious. My husband got the jerk chicken and loved it, I got the coconut curry chickpeas and added grilled chicken and it was very flavorful! We found out they do brunch and we will be back!
