Visited July 13th 2026, yogurt section, couldn't see the expiry date on a yogurt, asked the member of staff there, they showed me it & handed it back, it was 05th July so expired by 8 days, I said this is expired, they said yes with no follow up to say sorry or anything, so I went to the next yogurt cabinet, picked up a completely different brand & that was expired too, 6th July! There was another member of staff (wearing ear buds) i tried to speak to them 3 times to say it was expired, again no apology they just said they'd tell someone, that's lots of expired yogurts still for sale 7-8 days after expiry & nobody noticed, is that ok? Why isn't their inventory system flagging this up?
Also picked up a pack of flap tie garbage bags, $5.49 on the shelf, $6.99 at checkout, I don't have the bandwidth to deal with this 👎🏻
Edit:- Visit Aug 17th 2026, 1st yogurt I picked up expired Aug 14th, handed it to an employee, no thanks or acknowledgement. All the 'Xtreme Wellness' wraps expired today, not paying nearly $7 for something that expires today, plus the ones I looked at last week on a previous visit were all expired, maybe look at your prices because this brand are way cheaper (and fresher) at Dollar General.
Do better Stop & Shop!
Edit: Aug 24th 2026 visit, prices for Xtreme Wellness wraps seem way too high: they're on sale from $6.99($9.48 per lb) to $6.29($8.53 per lb) for 8 wraps in an 11.8oz/336g pack, but Dollar General sell the same brand 6 wraps in a 9.5oz/270g pack for $3.75 which works out at $6.31 per lb!
