  They very rarely run out of stock. Purchasing is doing a great job at this Stop n Shop. Staff is nice and they seem to have removed rude staff or they aren't around much, making everything less toxic and a joy.

  I bought bread today and when taking it out of the bag noticed a small speck of green mold. I checked the expiration date, and apparently it was already expired days ago. They should have staff checking for and discarding product on the shelves, not just keeping them there for people to unknowingly buy. I can't even return it now because it's too far from my house. Other than that, they have a lot of variety. I wouldn't trust their storebrand products because years ago I bought a brand new box of their store brand ziploc bags, only to open it and find a dirty rubberband at the top. Their storebrand products seem to have poor quality control. I wouldn't trust their meat either. In the mornings, there's only one single cashier so you might be waiting long. The self-checkout was closed and an angry customer had to tell them to turn it on because we were backed up behind a customer buying like $300 worth of groceries. Anyway, check the expiration dates of all items you purchase!

  My problem is with the early morning, older aged cashiers. I know for a fact it is store policy for them to bag items, but it seems they lack training. I bag my items the time, but once they are done scanning, these two women just stand there and will not help finish bagging. Do better!
