  I wanted fried chicken and decided to try this new place. The chicken wings were crispy and definitely the best part of the meal. The mac and cheese and cheese fries were mediocre. What really disappointed me was the coleslaw. I paid $1.99 for it, and it came in what looked like a tablespoon-sized portion that didn’t even fill the ramekin cup. There was so little that I could barely taste it. Honestly, they could have just charged a little extra and offered a proper 8 oz portion instead. I don’t understand charging nearly $2 for barely a bite of coleslaw. Now I’m curious how much rice they give you for $2.99 — two ramekin cups?

  I placed a large order from Yo Yo Chicken around Eid, and unfortunately, several items were missing. We even had the full order details on the app and showed it to them as proof. When we went back in person the same day, they told us it was too late since the kitchen had already closed. They took my number and said the owner would call me the next day—but no one ever did. Life got busy and we forgot about it. About a month later, we ordered from Yo Yo Chicken again and reminded them about the situation. Despite showing them the order details again, they refused to acknowledge it, saying too much time had passed and nothing could be done. So basically, $29.99 just went down the drain. To be fair, the food itself is good—that’s why we gave them another shot. But I’d strongly recommend double-checking your order at pickup or immediately upon delivery. If something is missing, get it resolved right away—don’t rely on their word. Just sharing this so others can be cautious.
