  The Stop & Shop on Hillside Ave in New Hyde Park is fantastic! Avoid the Franklin Square location, though. Both times I bought fruit there, it looked great in the store but started rotting within 1–2 days. I ended up throwing most of it away and wasting money. I won't be back to the Franklin Square store—Hillside Ave is worth the trip.

  Oh my God, this is awful. People, be careful when shopping at this supermarket—the quality of the products is poor. I bought some chicken legs, and they turned out to be bad; when I opened the package, they reeked of rot. It seems they don't check whether the products are good or spoiled. Someone who doesn't realize the food is bad might eat it and get sick. Check carefully whenever you buy packaged chicken or meat.

  Today I just witnessed the most distasteful interaction. A high school/middle school boy was trying to raise money for his school & not one or two, but 5 employees came out to attack, slander & disrespect him while also calling the cops on him. He’s a child. They’re grown adults. I’ve been coming here for YEARS & sadly it’s becoming more & more unprofessional. Half the time it’s not clean. The bathrooms are beyond disgusting & just overall customer service is horrific. They need to do better.
