- DFD. FrewSep 18, 20264.0Always tasty, but the bill kills a bit of your soul...
- LSLiam SpurlockSep 9, 20265.0Very attentive staff and excellent food. I would like to mention jozlyn as she was extra attentive and helped some elderly customers that were having trouble moving around by bringing their food out to them so they didn't have to get up. That is some above and beyond service right there!
- CSCasey SummersSep 8, 20261.0Came here for lunch and paid for 1 fountain drink, when I went to fill my drink, they were out of all flavors of Coke but regular and out of root beer, so since I couldn't get the Coke Zero or root beer, I went back up to the cashier to ask for my money back since water was my only option. She looked at me confusedly and said that I could just keep the cup for water, not at all understanding that I didn't want to pay $3.25 for water! She just stood there unsure of what I was trying to say so I just walked away and proceeded to get my water. They were also out of peanuts, so overall it was a very poor dining experience and I will not be going back!
- JSJoe SnyderAug 29, 20261.0Worst burger I’ve ever had. The fake American cheese wouldn’t even melt.five guys is a one and done for me. Food is nasty and overpriced. Go elsewhere.
Frequently Asked Questions About Five Guys
What is the Five Guys story/How did you guys get your name?
Five Guys began its pursuit to redefine the global burger landscape in 1986 when Jerry and Janie Murrell asked three of their sons whether they wanted to start a business or go to college. Now, three decades after our first location opened in Arlington, Va., Five Guys – a fast-casual restaurant chain named for the Murrells' five sons – serves a classic take on hamburgers, fries and milkshakes in more than 1,700 locations across 24 countries.
You can read more about the story of Five Guys at www.FiveGuys.com!
How many restaurants does Five Guys have?
As of January 2026, we have more than 1,900 locations in over 24 countries!
Does Five Guys offer delivery?
Most North American locations offer delivery. The best way to find out if the location nearest to you offers delivery is to visit our website or download the app.
Additionally, we work with all major third-party delivery companies in the U.S., including DoorDash and Uber, so feel free to search for Five Guys through their platforms!
Does Five Guys offer gluten-free options?
The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.
While our crew members do all they can to avoid it, there is always a risk of cross-contamination. Please review our nutritional, ingredient and allergen chart for the most accurate information.
Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
What is the best way to reheat leftover fries?
Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
Why is Five Guys switching from a fry cup to a fry bag?
We are switching to fry bags to ensure your fries stay fresher and as part of our larger commitment to the environment. The bags allow air to circulate better, so fries stay fresh during delivery and takeout. Same portions, same great fries – just smarter packaging that’s also better for the environment.
