  I went there last night for my first time ever and the food was okay was expecting better for sure especially what my bill was also the service was not good at all plus I was never told about a 20% gratuity party of 6 or more until I was done eating with my family and asked for the check and then they expected another tip on top of the 20 % gratuity shown on my receipt so after all said and done I try new places all the time once especially to stay local but when I get disappointed I don't go back

  Great spot. Cocktails, coffee and craft beer. Food was excellent. The menu includes extensive breakfast/brunch that is served all day. Appetizers, salads and sandwiches. Highly recommend and will be back often.

  As someone who is very particular about coffee, I can confidently say that Underground Coffee and Ales exceeded my expectations. The quality of the coffee is outstanding—rich, smooth, and clearly crafted with care. You can immediately tell they take pride in sourcing and preparing their beans properly. Their selection is impressive, offering a great variety for both casual drinkers and true coffee enthusiasts. On top of that, the pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the quality you’re getting. What truly sets this place apart is the owner, who is incredibly personable, welcoming, and passionate about what they do. That level of genuine hospitality makes the experience even better. This is truly a hidden gem in the Ellenville area. I highly recommend stopping in—you won’t be disappointed.
