  I just have to let people know that this Stop and Shop in Eastchester has by far the nicest and most accommodating employees that I’ve come across ever. I don’t wanna get into the negative details about my delivery, I just want to acknowledge Joe who I spoke to twice on the phone who works in front, and the manager Gene Hickey. When I spoke to both they couldn’t have been nicer and the end result is that Gene The manager ended up shopping for my groceries and personally delivering them to my kitchen counter. I felt awful that he was doing that. But he said you do want your food right? I said yeah I guess so. He’s like I don’t want this representing our store so I am more than happy to deliver this to you and they did even more, so I can’t thank you enough. This really to me when above and beyond and I so appreciated it. So if I could give 10 stars for the service that I received today, I would. Thank you again Gene.

  I have encountered the rudest cashier today at my local Stop & Shop in Eastchester. First, she complained that I did not put the divider on the belt to separate my groceries from the customer in front of me, however, I had placed my food 2 feet away from the other person. She did not pay attention she kept n scanning groceries until the customer stopped her and told her that wasn’t his stuff. I was too busy trying to place my stuff on the belt. Then she turned around and yelled at me for not using the divider, I said I put my food very far away from the customer in front of me. She said it doesn’t matter that’s why there are dividers. First of all, I didn’t know that they can treat a customer with such a rude manner. Then when she was ringing me up; she was tossing my groceries like she didn’t care and after she finished scanning, she didn’t say anything so I went to scan my credit card then she told me to wait. However, I already scanned it then she said that’s why I told you to wait because I need to do something here. She said you have to do it again now then she was huffing and puffing and she leaned back with her arms crossed and rolling her eyes while waiting for me to pack up all my groceries. I think that’s why people rather wait for the self checkout than dealing with these type of rude mannerism, as a local customer, I am very disappointed and disgusted with treatment I received today.

  Stop & Shop always has what I am looking for and it is always fully stocked. The staff is always helpful and cordial. I recommend this place for your daily or weekly shopping to anyone, whether passing by or living in the area #shopping food #milk #eggs #produce

  I'm from the Bronx and on 3/26 I had a doctor's appointment. I had to shop and as I drove, I seen Stop & Shop. I found parking and a wagon. So far so good. When entering, a wo nderful Produce section appeared. They had everything I needed. I continued shopping filling my cart. I was satisfied with the sales, availability of meats, can food, pasta, sauces, oh.my god. All aisles were.clean and product neatly arranged. I cannot complain about there prices, a little high but not bad. I loved their sales. You have come in a shop. I will drive 20 minutes again to shop here.
