- DIDread InNYMay 21, 20264.0If I recall this building used to be a mom and pop donut shop for many years. I wanted to try the Dubai chocolate sundae. I stopped at this location. It could be a little easy to miss because it sits a little off the street and it is a smaller location. I was greeted with a smile and the work it was very friendly I asked about to Dubai Sundae and she said she can make one. I thought it would come in a regular paper cup and she said it was three scoops. It was made in a smaller plastic cup. Reminded me of a slightly taller version of the McDonald's Sunday cup. She was able to get everything in but did not have enough of the pistachio sauce in the bottle. She looked for more sauce but could not find any. She scrolls out some that probably was maybe about a teaspoon on the top. So I will not have much that flavor and whoever comes after me won't have it at all. The Sundae itself was pretty good. Keep in mind that Baskin-Robbins is very sweet. There is a lot of sugar in their ice cream. Texture is always nice. Comparing at quality wise to other fast food ice cream it's definitely better than McDonald's and Carvel in sense of taste and texture, however I think Friendly's has the best fast food ice cream. A custom experience was fine. The product was fine although next time I would definitely ask for it in a cup and not the plastic one. The Establishment presented is clean. One zonk I have to give is that there was no spoon put in the bag. How am I supposed to eat a Sundae?
