I am a S&S fan but this location is just awful and not worthy of the brand name. Location is not only cramped it is dirty and smells so bad (like spoiled milk). Management should make a beautiful market with less space. We left plugging our noses. Will not be back.
At this parking lot, I have repeatedly noticed a Stop & Shop employee who, in my experience, speaks very rudely to women and harasses them. I have also noticed people behaving strangely around cars several times — suddenly stepping or jumping in front of or beside vehicles. At first, I thought these incidents were accidental.
Today, something similar happened to me. I
turned my car around, stopped, and was preparing to back up when a short, dark-skinned man suddenly came out of the parking area and started yelling. At first, I did not understand why he was yelling, but then it seemed like he was trying to make it appear as though I was about to hit him with my car. As soon as I told him that I had a camera in my vehicle, he immediately walked away, and I was unable to catch up with him.
I also noticed someone from another vehicle taking pictures of my car. I do not know whether these incidents are connected, and I cannot say for certain that there is an organized group involved, but the behavior seemed suspicious to me. Please be careful around the large Stop & Shop parking lot and the large parking area next to it.
The people I have seen suddenly stepping or jumping in front of cars appeared to be of Mexican or Hispanic background. Separately, the aggressive Black man I mentioned works at Stop & Shop.
This is the car of the person who was taking pictures of my car.👇

Sadly, the store is not good. The company should be ashamed to have this in existence.
This store is absolutely DISGUSTING. I was shocked having not been there for a few years how much it’s taken a nosedive. From the moment you walk in, it looks chaotic, and SMELLS FOUL. It’s beyond me why people who live here tolerate this, especially being in East Hampton. The locals who can’t always afford Citerellas deserve better. Dirty cramped isles, boxes on the floor, awful looking produce that’s thrown around everywhere. Nothing is ripe or fresh. No organization, old dirty shelves, things are misplaced. It honestly looks like monkeys ransacked the place. The meat shelf cooling system was broken, so there was this huge plastic tarp over it. Granola and it’s plastic containers spilled all over on the floor in produce section. Garbage thrown everywhere by the trash bins going out. Nasty attitude coming from employees. Shocking, disturbing and upsetting all in one. This store needs to be overthrown, seriously. So many things going down hill in quality and quality of service out there. Sad.
Has everything and at reasonable prices... For the Hamptons.
