  It is a true testament to Hampton Chutney Co. that they did not miss a single beat when they relocated. While I often still find myself wishing they were back at their original spot in Amagansett—instead of being replaced by the somewhat aimless Doubles—making the trip into East Hampton town is always entirely worth it. The good vibes and friendly staff make it a pleasure every time, and you simply cannot buy the authentic, kind energy that this place has in spades. It is the kind of genuine atmosphere that a spot like Provisions wishes it could replicate. No matter who the new staff members are, something about the culture here makes everyone fall right into line and become their best self. When it comes to the menu, the food is very good. It can be a little inconsistent-- I have had some great grilled cheeses here and some less than great, but the floor is generally high. If you are in the mood for traditional Indian flavors, the potato masala and the vegetable thali are absolutely fantastic options. On the other hand, if you want something more classically American, their smoked turkey sandwich hits the spot. I always like to wash everything down with either a fresh lassi or an iced oat chai. Best of all, you get to enjoy all of this while chilling in one of the most relaxed environments in the Hamptons. With plenty of tables and seating options tucked away in the back, it is a rare haven where you can just be left completely alone to unwind and soak in the guru photos on the wall. Unlike most of the Hamptons, no one judges you here.

  Beautiful venue for a casual joint in East Hampton with elegant outdoor seating (love the white benches). Most delicious curry chicken inside a dosa, a top recommendation from the restaurant personnel itself. The dosa had a conventionally perfected texture which did justice to its point of origin. What made this place so intriguing was its adaptation into a more fusion style cuisine, with western or more global ingredients, such as arugula + tomato + pesto inside a dosa. A must try for a unique culinary experience 🩷

  Food was great, very good flavor. Ready fast, reasonable prices and they are allergy conscious. You could tell the place gets hit for a lunch crowd by looking at the floors.. lots of food on the ground Im pretty sure we came in right after the rush. (I get it). Gem of a lunch spot despite the cleanliness almost reminded me of being back in NYC. We will be back.

  I love everything about this place and have been coming for decades and it feels like home. The food feels so fresh and flavorful and it’s great to eat or take it to go. The staff are really friendly! Highly recommend.
