  I walked there was no one on the register and then one lady walked i said hello as a customer i greeted but she seemed unbothered and didnt even reply then i put my order for the shake but she charged extra plus didn’t even make it supposed to be i have been to many haagan daz before but this was just a disappointing experience.

  The employee politely took my order, and took someone's cash order. But when it was time to prep my order, a banana split sundae, I noticed she did not wash her hands nor put gloves on while handling my order, so I refused what she gave me and I told her my reasons: that she failed to wash her hands or wear gloves. She immediately counter argued she never touched my food with her hands, and I said that was not the point - she did not follow basic hygiene protocol for food preparation. She offered to make another one and this time I saw that she washed her hands. I didn't pry as she made my order I just looked from afar, maybe I should've pryed. Well, I observed her make a comment with an employee, whether they were insulting me or not, I wouldn't know. The Sundae was ok, but a simple practice of washing hands before handing food, especially after touching money would have avoided the whole situation.

  This location was a little crowded when I arrived which makes sense because of the summer season, kids are out of school. I think the staff handled the crowd really well, very efficient. I had a seamless experience
