  We ordered a take-out dinner of spring rolls and Pho soup. Everything was super-flavorful and comforting. Also, the soup was still piping hot, even though we ate it more than an hour after I picked it up - very impressive. We'll be back for more :)

  I’ve been dining out in the Capital Region for over a decade, and I’ve never felt the urge to post a review to share my jaw dropping experience. I ordered the spicy lemongrass beef soup rice noodle with a $3 beef brisket add-on, for a total of about $17. What arrived was an impressive demonstration of portion minimalism. Photo one shows the untouched bowl: rice noodles accompanied by several carefully rationed fragments of what appears to be beef. Not slices—fragments. Each piece looked as if it had gone through an approval process before entering the bowl. Photo two offers a closer look at the star ingredient: “brisket.” The bowl presents something that resembles a distant acquaintance of brisket. To clarify, I respectfully asked the staff whether this was what their $3 beef brisket add-on normally looks like. The answer was yes. Before I could even follow up, the conversation concluded itself with: “I am not the restaurant owner or manager, I just work here.” A remarkably efficient exchange: question answered, responsibility redirected, expectations recalibrated. At this price point, the portioning strategy feels less like culinary design and more like a study in cost efficiency. If you’re curious about how far the definition of “beef brisket” can stretch without snapping entirely, this bowl provides a live demonstration. If this review disappears, I will come back and write it again.
