  We used to love Outback Steakhouse and have been waiting for the right time to eat here ever since the New Hartford, NY location closed down. Unfortunately, our visit to the Colonie, NY location proved exactly why the chain seems to be struggling. The quality has gone way down.To be fair, some classics still hold up. The Bloomin' Onion was as good as always, crisp and flavorful. The salad paired with their tangy tomato dressing was also tasty.However, the main event was a massive letdown. I ordered the hand-breaded chicken tenders, which have always been my absolute favorite. To my absolute surprise and disgust, what I received instead was clearly a pre-frozen, generic chicken strip. Serving low-quality, frozen food instead of fresh, hand-breaded tenders is incredibly disappointing for a steakhouse.It is no surprise why locations are closing if this is the new standard of food they are serving. We won't be rushing back. I was not impressed with how the prime rib was coming out plated either so we won’t be in a hurry to return.

  Had a nice dinner a few moments with my son for his bday. Had Brandon as our waiter. Even though he was slammed, he did excellent at being attentive as well as being a good person in general. Thank you Brandon!

  We rarely go to Outback but we had gift cards and we were traveling, so we said why not. I was pleasantly surprised. The service was pretty good, our server, Chris, was really nice. The steaks and burger were cooked exactly how they were ordered, which rarely happens at most places. The food came out in a good amount of time. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean.

  think my first time here, birthday present from friend, ordered alice springs chicken totally amazing. The chicken cooked amazing, the asparagus awesome, and the honey brown sugar sweet potato hey it was amazing. Great waiter, atmosphere But my best part well the food was the staff as we leave said have a good day, thank you for coming. Need more of that in other places. They work hard yet tell us thanks for coming. I love that. Thank you to my friend for the gift, and thank you OUTBACK for a great experience.

  Our visit to Outback was delightful. Stepping through the door, the aroma of good food hit us, making us know we chose the right spot for dinner. He did need to wait to be seated, but the waiting area was quite comfortable and it wasn't long before we were seated. We asked to see a menu while waiting so we were ready to go once a table was ready. Our server was wonderfully attentive, and he ensured we had everything needed throughout the meal. The food was delicious. I had the Alice Springs chicken with the potato soup and a chopped pecan salad. My roommate enjoyed the sirloin with coconut shrimp and the cho]ed pecan salad and sweet potato with all the fixings. All the food was the proper temperature and served at the perfect pace for a perfect meal. We'll definitely be back for more!
