I had a great experience at Saffron Kitchen! I ordered the lamb kabobs, and they were absolutely delicious. Before visiting, I had seen some negative reviews, so I decided to give the restaurant a try for myself.
I’m glad I did! My experience was excellent. They served me chicken soup and lamb kabobs, and I really enjoyed both dishes. The food was delicious, and the service made my visit even better.
I definitely recommend giving Saffron Kitchen a try. I’ll be coming back again with my friends!

This was our first visit to Saffron…visiting Niagara Falls from TX. Being from Iran, we pretty much search for Persian food everywhere we go. Looked online and found Saffron. The pictures online presented a lovely atmosphere, but the pics are deceiving. It is really a catering hall complete with huge plastic tables and banquet chairs. The room looked like they recently had a gathering as some tables were bare or had soiled linens. Chairs were haphazardly at the tables, scattered about the room. Definitely not the ambiance of a welcoming restaurant.
It took over 10 minutes for someone to bring menus to the table and take our drink order. It took an additional 10 minutes to place our order. The food on the menu looked authentic and we ordered 2 Koobideh Kebab plates. The server did not return with our drinks until the food was ready, about 20 minutes later. We were pleasantly surprised that the kebab tasted authentically delicious and was grilled to perfection…tender and juicy. The rice was cooked well and had a smooth, buttery flavor. The grilled pepper was a nice addition, but the tomato, although charred, was cold and hard. We were disappointed that there was no bread or Sabzi offered for the price paid. Our server never returned to the table and we had to search for him to get a to-go box and to pay. It would have been nice to end the meal with some dessert and chai, but as stated, wait staff was no where to be found.
Overall, the service was sadly lacking, but the food was very good. We would return again, but order as take-out.

This place is a gem . Authentic food made with perfection and care . This is the best food we ever had . We are so picky so when my family and I agree that this place is perfect place to be . That means it is definitely. Portion is big and delicious. Every dish we had was a piece of perfection art . My daughter didn’t want the meal to end . If we could we could have ordered every thing in the menu . Definitely we will be back . Please come and try this amazing place . You will be delighted.

This restaurant is advertised as Persian, but in reality it serves a mix of Persian and Afghan food. Although many of the dishes have Persian names, the flavors and quality were far from authentic Persian cuisine.
The rice and kebab both had an unpleasant, rubbery texture. The portion of chicken served with the zereshk polo was also extremely small. We ordered the Kabuli pulao as an Afghan dish, but it was completely different from the authentic versions we have tried before.
Unfortunately, the service was just as disappointing. Everything was very slow, and instead of placing utensils in front of each guest, the server left a pile of mismatched forks and spoons in the middle of the table. No one came back even once to check whether we needed anything, which made us feel completely ignored as customers.
If you are looking for authentic Persian food, I honestly would not recommend this place. It does not represent the real flavors of Persian cuisine and could leave first-time customers with a very poor impression of it.
