  i was so blown away by these tacos! definitely the best i’ve had in williamsburg - i had the friendliest server (who i unfortunately forgot to ask for their name) but they were so incredibly attentive to me, asked me if i enjoyed the fish taco (as they had recommended it) and was incredibly helpful with the ordering process. i had ordered the beef quesadilla, the baja fish taco, and the birria taco, and not one of these items had any crumbs left behind! they were all so flavourful, especially the baja fish, with the freshest ingredients used: the tacos were also on corn tortillas which really helps bring out more flavour to the dish, i feel! each time i took a bite, i could not help but audibly say “wow” to myself! i also ended the meal with a brand new item to their dessert menu, the tres leches, and i have got to say it was not as sweet as most which really blew me away, it was the perfect way to end an amazing meal! please do give this a try if you’re ever in the williamsburg area!

  Poor customer service. Came here to pick up an order and I was standing around with 4 other drivers for a couple of minutes without anyone addressing us. The restaurant was fully staffed. They need to implement a better system for their pickup orders.

  The consistently inconsistent service for what is supposed to be one of the more upscale taco eateries in the area is crazy. The first time i was here i ordered the seared fish tacos and didn't realize it didn't come with toppings until the second time i was here and it did. I thought it looked a little bare when i got it but i didn't put two and two together. Now the back of the house staff look like they work hard so i wouldn't hold it against them, except in future visits i had similar faulty experiences, and if you really think about it, if the chef misses it then the waiting staff should catch it. On another visit here i ordered the crispy fish tacos which are normally delicious and received two almost empty ones that were mostly fried batter and no fish! Not one but two in the same plate. The crazy thing is that they fry it on the spot, you can see the chef do it, which means the chef consciously decided it was okay to put an inch of fish into a $7 dollar taco. (Thankfully i got these on Taco Tuesday.) But imagine paying $14 for two tacos and biting into an empty taco. The fried batter was so nasty, like fried oil taste, and it literally felt like i was eating a hollow taco with just the tortilla shell. And this happened not once but twice! I ordered these to go so i couldn't even go back to complain though i should have. Also the waiting staff has no communication. When you order to go they apparently only give you red salsa but when you eat in they give you both red and green salsa. I asked to include green salsa in the to go order and the waiter said sure. She didn't write anything into her service tablet so i assume there's no option to input a note with the order. Well my order was brought to me by a different waiting staff member and, of course, it didn't have the green salsa but i caught this on the spot. Thankfully they don't charge extra for it. But the absolute worst experience here and why I'm leaving the review is that if you pay in cash they don't give you exact change in coins and they LITERALLY say nothing. So they end up shorting you. They only carry bills but apparently no coins. So for example if the bill is $14.70. You are owed $5.30 and they will instead give you $5. That's it. No $0.30 cents. And they say absolutely nothing. The girl waiters just make a weird "idk" face, the guy waiter makes this premptively aggressive face. This happened more than once so this place literally owes me over $2. I've never had it where a business owes me money. And each time the waiting staff says absolutely nothing which makes me wonder if the manager explicitly told them to say nothing. Some of the food here is delicious but the constant stress and aggravation is not worth it.
