Tried to use my points to claim a free item but apparently you have to make a purchase in order to use your points. Nowhere in the app did it tell me that! I was only informed that I needed to make a purchase after I claimed my points. So now I have to refund my points and who knows how long it's going to take for me to get them back. That's honestly terrible literally every other fast food restaurant in existence that has a point system allows you to claim that item without having to make a purchase smh. I just bought dinner from somewhere else and I wanted to use my points to get ice cream there was no way I was going to purchase something else from Sonic on top of the dinner I purchased somewhere else smh

I had a good experience. The food was delicious. The worker at the drive through asked if we wanted a receipt which we took .
