  Horrible location, i know its in Brooklyn poor neighborhood. Drink option out of order constantly, No napkin, dirty table, insanely bad attitude from server

  I placed a mobile order for pickup at 2:30 PM. I got the notification on the app that the food was ready at 2:45. I clocked out at 2:50 and walked over to Smash burger to get my food. I walked in and there was a little line of people to order and about 3 people waiting for order pickups. I thought, Okay, that isn’t too bad. There is one person operating the mobile order distribution and in-store orders. The person was acting like she didn’t acknowledge the 4 of us waiting for our mobile orders. After about 5 minutes, she asks someone from the back to come out to assist. I understand I work in customer service, so I get understaffed do to callouts, but at least acknowledge us. The person came and I told him my name. He said the food wasn’t ready yet. I said, Are you sure? I got notified it was, and he said no, it’s not, and he instructed someone in the back to make tenders and a chicken sandwich. (That’s exactly what I ordered.) Now I’m upset because I’ve been waiting for 10 minutes, and he just asked the guy in the back to work on my order. Now it’s 3:08 PM, and it’s about 10 people waiting for mobile orders and there’s no order, no system, no structure. They taped all the mobile orders on the counter, and it was like they were randomly choosing who to give the food to. I asked about my food, and I was told we'd be waiting for fries. I told them I didn’t order fries. They said give us one minute and, again, I understand being understaffed and a bunch of orders, but what I don’t get is people coming after me and getting their food before me. Now it’s 3:30, and I’m pissed. I told them to cancel my order and refund me. They told me they can’t since I did on the app, I would have to call my bank/credit card to cancel it. I just walked out and proceeded to do just that. At 3:50, I got another notification that the food was ready to be picked up by that I was already back to work, and I ended up deleting the app. Never again

  The food at this Smashburger location is AMAZING! They consistently get my order right, and I have no complaints about the quality of the food. However, the customer service is atrocious. The employees are extremely rude and come across very nasty when I come in to place an order at the register. Honestly, I don’t even look forward to ordering here because of the way I’m treated. It’s unfortunate because the food is really good, but customer service matters just as much. Management seriously needs to work on their employees’ customer service skills and the way they interact with customers. If this continues, it’s going to drive customers away and ultimately cause the restaurant to lose business. Great food can only go so far when customers don’t feel welcomed or respected.

  La comida es excelente. La primera vez que fui me encantó hoy volví a ir y estaba atendiendo un morocho musculoso que fue totalmente desagradable y repugnante. Una lastima que un negocio se queme por un personaje así.

  Literally the worst place I've ever been to for customer service. The food was good, but they didn't even have anyone who spoke Spanish (though I understand it anyway). The guy behind the register just stood there silently staring at me while I tried to order, like I was crazy. He didn't understand me even when I showed him what was on the screen. After I ordered, he started talking to his friend, and I didn't even know if I should move or not, he didn’t event told me there were other options like drinks or fries like other restaurants/places always do. In the end, they wouldn't even give us our drinks! Terrible customer service.
