First time going to Pies ‘n’ Thighs with my friends and although the food was spectacular the service was the exact opposite. Our waitress after sat us down, took our order and then completely forgot about us. No one came to check on us to see how we were doing and even forgot to put in reorders we had. After our food we ordered our pies to be heated which came out cold. They also forgot to add an order of the ice cream for the pies on the side. Although we did really enjoy the food and the vibes, the service was horrendous. Not to mention we waited for over an hour for our dessert orders to be taken since we had to chase down a server to take our order as not one person came to do any kind of check up throughout the entire time we were there. Please take the time to teach the staff to pay some sort of attention to the customer. Your food was very delicious but the service was extremely off putting.

Went to the first one to try it out. Loved it. Went to this second one for seconds. Loved it. Same down home feeling. The grits were Rooster Cogburn! Banana cream pie is my favorite. This was better than my auntie Amanda's. Don't tell her. The fried chicken is better than the Amish do down in Lancaster. Biscuits so light they float off the plate.Service is top notch as well. I plan on becoming a regular so I'm gonna need to move to New York.

I had a lovely time at the new Pies-N-Thighs location in Park Slope for Mother’s Day. We started with the hush puppies which were so airy and were accompanied by a nice tangy sauce. The sweet tea was perfection! Then the chicken box with collards was super flavorful and crispy. The collards were smoky and seasoned well. I even loved the hot sauce on the table which was a true Louisiana favorite. Lastly, since it was mom’s day, a free slice of pie was the icing on the cake. This will be a great stop before or after Liberty games for sure!

Waited about 15 mins to be seated around 630pm. I hat the tender box with baked beans and a side of broccoli. The broccoli is SO good! Perfect consistency and the Chimichurri was the perfect complement. The tenders were so light but with a great crunch. How can I do this at home? lol party had the fried chicken said it was very juicy and delicious. Great serving for the price. We also had the catfish, typically not a fan but it was good. Sides that mashed were great. Slight tang from buttermilk but great buttery taste. Our Mac & cheese was creamy goodness. I would get that every time. But the stunner was the pie. The apple pie has to be like 4 inches high. Warmed with a scoop of ice cream I was in heaven. We also had the sour cherry and banana cream. All delicious. I hope to try a toffee donut next time, looked exceptional.

Alright, let’s get into it. I’ve been visiting the Williamsburg location for over a decade, so trust this as a true point of reference. In terms of atmosphere, the place feels sterile. It just doesn’t capture the energy of Williamsburg. But in their defense, that part of Brooklyn is a bit sterile so maybe we’re getting pies and thighs light. The service is cool, everyone there has been nice. Nothing out of this world but they have manners and are generally polite. The food is where we’re lacking. I’ve been here 4 times since they opened and 3 of those nights the Mac and cheese was too salty. Tonight, no salt at all. A couple nights, good pieces of chicken, fried well, but always either overly salty or no salt at all. There’s just a lack of consistency and maybe they’re getting their footing, but as of May 6th, 2026, they haven’t found it yet. They could benefit from major quality control, because what’s coming out the kitchen isn’t hitting.
