I've been coming in since the good ol' days of Amanda, Tristan, Jin, Monera, Abby and quite a few others that made you feel welcome, no matter how you looked. There was a warmth within this place, a family type atmosphere, where you saw the crew was happy to be there and they wanted to ensure you had a positive experience. I don't know if it's the bank like remodel, think it's more the new generation of management that has made this place a restaurant I personally try and avoid. Lou knows me, I'm the homeless guy, Denis, that has spent his dirty money here for 7 years. After 7 years, I thought by now I could count on at the very least, being treated like everyone else. WRONG!!!! At 10:15 pm Tuesday night, August 18th, someone was kind enough to buy me a 10 piece meal upon my request. He failed to remember the Sweet and sour sauce. I went back in and asked a moody manager, for the sweet and sour sauce. Explained the situation, said please multiple times and was met with absolute disrespect. Unlike anyone else who would be given the benefit of the doubt for 2 sauce cups, this manager, in front of everyone, made it seem as if I was lying and forced me to go get my food and receipt to show him, before I received the sauce. And I did just that, not only did this "man" not apologize, he didn't even acknowledge my presence, he was preoccupied on his cell phone. Refusing to even look up and treat me like a human being. One of the crew members who was busting his butt, gave me the sauce, no problem. At this point I felt like he was just screwing with me because he can, so, disclosure, I shouted at him as I was leaving, threatening to tell his boss. Unfazed, he continued to stay on his phone, not only ignoring me but the several other appalled customers that know me, as well. Fast food? Not on this shift, certainly no smile, no name tag, no customer is always right and absolutekt no friendliness. But im the homeless guy, plus the warmth of Amanda and her crew are long gone, so its to be expected as the new norm. I expect better from a Paul Hendel establishment. Maybe transfer an old school GM like Vanessa Bobe to straighten things out.
