As a plant based vegan every bite was exceptional. Unfortunately, I cannot choose one item because everything was absolutely delicious. The drinks were also fire. I went to HAAM with the intention of ordering several items for taste testing and everything was amazing. The hapoy hour prices made it affordable to sample. Oxtail-10, curry chicken empanadas-10, steak-10, macaroni and cheese pie-10. I could go on for days but this location is a must taste. I also took a friend who does not eat plant based and honestly adverse to the notion. They rated it an 8.5 out of 10❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. My ration is 10💓 Will definitely be returing.

If you are ever in South Williamsburg and you want to try the best Vegan Food in NYC, then HAAM Caribbean Plant Cuisine is the answer. Such an amazing restaurant serving up delicious dishes like Empanadas Trio to Oxtails Rice + Peas. Every meal is deliciously presented and full of seasoning and flavor. The cocktails are just as good. The Sorrol #7 is my personal favorite but they have other cocktails that are delicious too. Even drinks mixed within a fresh coconut 🥥. They do Brunch on the weekends also. The ambiance and feel of the place is welcoming the staff is so friendly and helpful. I want to thank our server NONI for making some great suggestions and just having a great attitude. 🙏🏼 I also want to thank the owner Yesenia for taking the time to speak with us about our experience there and explaining to us the origins of her journey. Thank you so much and I will be back. 🇩🇴 🇹🇹 = HAAM 💚
Such a vibe, my boyfriend and I went here on a date night, and from the moment we stepped foot we were greeted with great hospitality! The hostess with the blonde braids was such a delight, but our waiter, Samson was truly a pleasure! I remember him telling us that he had only been here for 3 months, but he definitely seemed like a pro! From describing the different drink options (he recommended the rum punch for my sweet tooth) to informing me about the oxtail dish (loved!) he was just so nice, so attentive, and a joy to have serve us. We will definitely be back, both for the food and for him!

A friend highly recommended HAAM Caribbean Plant-Based Cuisine when I was looking for catering for my 40th birthday celebration, and I’m so grateful they did! From the very beginning, Yessenia was incredibly attentive, accommodating, and genuinely kind. She patiently answered all of my questions and made the entire catering process feel effortless.
I had originally inquired about ordering a cheesecake for my birthday, but Yessenia recommended their Tres Leches cake instead. I am so glad I trusted her recommendation! It was absolutely delicious, beautifully decorated with edible flowers, and fit the whimsical theme of my celebration perfectly.
The delivery was seamless, and the presentation exceeded all of my expectations. Every appetizer was beautifully prepared, and, most importantly, everything was absolutely delicious. My guests couldn’t stop talking about the food! Even my non-vegan friends were pleasantly surprised when they found out the entire menu was plant-based. They couldn’t believe how flavorful and satisfying everything was.
Thank you, Yessenia, and the entire HAAM team, for helping make my birthday celebration so special. Your passion, care, and attention to detail truly shine through in everything you create. I wholeheartedly recommend HAAM to anyone looking for exceptional plant-based cuisine, whether you’re dining in or catering a special event. I can’t wait to order from you again!

After having HAAM on my foodie bucket list for over two years, I finally made the trip from Fort Lauderdale to Brooklyn to experience it for myself.
The standout of the entire visit was Ajaya. She welcomed me, served my table, and made thoughtful recommendations that truly enhanced my experience. She suggested the empanadas to start, and they did not disappoint. She also recommended a drink with sorrel, tamarind, and lime, and it was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and one of the best things I ordered. If the owners or management happen to read this, Ajaya deserves a shoutout. She provided exceptional service.
I ordered the steak and rice for my entrée. The vegan steak was the strongest part of the dish—the chuck-style texture was impressive and satisfying. Unfortunately, the rest of the plate fell a little short. The steak, rice, and beans all arrived just warm instead of hot, and the chimichurri lacked the bold, vibrant flavor I was hoping for. The sweet plantains, however, were fresh, piping hot, and absolutely delicious.
I had been looking forward to this meal for a long time, so it was a bit disappointing that the food didn’t fully live up to the anticipation. While the kitchen missed the mark for me, Ajaya certainly didn’t. Her warmth, attentiveness, and recommendations were the bright spot of the visit
