I want to start by saying that I truly appreciate Dave & Buster’s for creating a place where families and friends can come together to relax, celebrate, and make memories. My family visits your location often, which is why I’m disappointed to have to share this experience.
Unfortunately, I have had repeated negative interactions with an employee named Kevin at the Brooklyn location. This is not an isolated incident. Over multiple visits, I have personally experienced poor customer service from him, and I have also witnessed him arguing with other customers on several occasions.
During my most recent visit over the weekend, Kevin was once again dismissive and unprofessional. At one point, he commented that he was “just trying to make his money and go home.” While I understand that working in a busy environment can be stressful, customers should never feel like they are an inconvenience or be made aware of an employee’s frustration while receiving service.
Kevin also lacks many of the basic customer service practices that create a welcoming experience. He did not introduce himself, greet us warmly, or engage with us in a courteous manner. He immediately asked what we wanted to order without any acknowledgment. When I requested a small change to my order, he simply looked at me and walked away without saying a word. Even a brief response such as, “I’ll take care of that,” or “Give me one moment,” would have been appreciated.
I recognize that he was working under pressure and, at times, may have been the only bartender serving multiple guests. However, being busy should never excuse disrespectful or dismissive behavior toward customers.
What is even more concerning is that this issue has already been brought to management’s attention. My family and I have spoken with managers during previous visits, yet the response has consistently been to defend Kevin’s behavior rather than address the concerns. During this latest visit, we again explained that this has become a recurring issue, not a one-time complaint. We were also informed that he had been spoken to previously, but unfortunately, nothing appears to have changed.
I’m sharing this feedback because I genuinely enjoy visiting Dave & Buster’s and want to continue bringing my family there. However, consistent negative interactions with the same employee make that difficult. I hope this matter is taken seriously and that Kevin receives the coaching and accountability necessary to provide the level of customer service your guests deserve.

I went here for a Fathers Day event and it was excellent. We had a great time and the food was excellent. The service was great. Patrick the manager was always so kind and helpful. He helped us with getting our unlimited play cards and he was so calm under pressure. There was a bad leak but he handled it well. The games and vibes were so much fun. We love this location and can't wait to be back.
Toilet were backed up there was F-E-C-E-S and urine all over the women's bathroom water was turned off. And they had a nerve to continue with business and serve food. How was staff able to wash their hands after leaving the restroom? Then you want them to handle people's food. Absolutely disgusting. They should just close until this was resolved. Where's your staff supposed to go to the bathroom?This establishment is mostly for children , and they wouldn't even be able to use the bathroom.
I had a birthday for my son here last month and it was amazing. All my guest enjoyed everything from the food, drinks, games etc. The event manager and staff were truly amazing and a great help during this event. 10/10 recommend. The party room was clean and it much better to have a private space for my guests that didn’t want to play any games.

I had a very disappointing experience at this establishment. I sat at the bar for approximately 15 minutes waiting to place an order. During that time, the individual wearing a manager shirt never acknowledged or approached me. I initially assumed he was busy, but when a party of five sat down next to me, he immediately took their order.
I politely tried to let him know that I had been waiting, but he told me to “give him a second” because he was taking their order—even though I had been there first. I then brought the issue to another bartender’s attention, only to be told that she couldn’t do anything because he was the manager.
Being overlooked and then dismissed after waiting patiently was frustrating and made me feel like my business was not valued. Customer service should be consistent and attentive to all guests, regardless of whether they are alone or part of a larger group. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below expectations.I had a very disappointing experience at this establishment.
