  I’ve lived in this neighborhood for over 25 years, and this C-Town has unfortunately always been one of the dirtiest grocery stores I’ve ever visited. The floors are covered in grime, the shelves are dusty and filthy, and the entire store often smells like rotting fruits and vegetables. The first thing customers see when they walk in is a large produce display, yet much of the fruit and vegetables are covered in dark spots, visibly spoiled, or already molding. I avoid the meat department completely because the meat frequently appears discolored and old. I wasn’t able to take a photo this time because the smell coming from that section was overwhelming. Today, I stopped by because I was craving pickles. Since pickles are a shelf-stable product, I was shocked to find jars that had expired on August 13, 2025. The photo was taken on June 10, 2026, nearly ten months after the expiration date. That is completely unacceptable. This store has become notorious in the neighborhood for selling expired products. If an item is close to its expiration date, it should at least be discounted and clearly marked. Instead, they are selling products that are long expired at full price. That’s not just careless, it’s a potential health concern. At this point, the store should be reported to 311 and inspected. The only positive thing I can say about this location is that it has a convenient parking lot. Other than that, the cleanliness, product quality, and overall management leave a lot to be desired.
