  the smell in here is HORRIBLE—like mold, cat pee, and rot all at once. it’s a wave of stench that rolls over you as you enter and gets worse the longer you stay. produce is terrible, meat is gross, food is expired. do not shop here for your own health’s sake.

  If I can give it 0 stars I would. First things first they said they could only delivery 1 pack of waters to an apartment that has no elevator. That I understand very reasonably but then the lady who was checking out my grocery she decided to gossip about it with another employee as if it was a problem when I said it was no problem okay that’s fine. She thought I didn’t know Spanish but when I started speaking out towards her she quickly retreated. I did my shopping at 10am and it’s 4pm now still no sign of our delivery. I called them and they said that the food was still in the Sam spot. Honestly that sounds like it was out of spite and that is so unprofessional.

  I’ve been shopping at this supermarket for about 30 years, but unfortunately the store and its management have really gone downhill lately. I’m not sure if there are new owners or new management, but it’s definitely not the same place it used to be. One of the biggest problems is expired products on the shelves. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve come home only to realize that something I purchased was already expired. It’s frustrating to have to go back to the store and explain this to the manager just to get it resolved. After happening multiple times, it really makes you question the store’s quality control. Another ongoing issue is the deli counter service. There are many times when no one is there, and customers have to wait 5–10 minutes just for someone to come take an order for cold cuts. On one occasion, I had been standing there waiting when the manager came out from a side room chewing on food. I told him I had been waiting about five minutes and asked if someone could help. His response was, “Ask one of the cashier girls, they’ll help you.” As a customer, I shouldn’t be told to go ask employees to do the manager’s job. Seeing how annoyed I was, he then said, “Never mind, I’ll do it.” The frustrating part is that all he really had to do was call the deli worker over the store speaker. On top of that, many of the products here are overpriced compared to other supermarkets in the area. It’s disappointing because this used to be a store I trusted and enjoyed shopping at for years. I hope management takes these issues seriously and works on improving product quality, managment and customer service.
